Maybe I missed this, but what's with the white tennis shoes? They look stupid. Is it some kind of "let's turn-around-our-season" superstition?
Hakeem insisted on always wearing white shoes until close to the end of his stay with the rockets (the young guys wanted to wear black). The way I see it, things haven't gone so well since the switch, so I welcome the change back to the white shoes. Anyways, just a thought.... Michael

is it true that all players on a team must wear basically the same color shoes? they must all decide on one color, black or white?
if i recall correctly they were supposed to change the shoe colors because of steves new shoe deal which is being promoted in the new color.

That's what it is. They're gonna wear white at home because Steve will be wearing his white x-beams and they will wear black away when he will wear his black ones.
Bright red plastic shoes would be exciting. That would be tight. Or how bout they all sport the Stevie Franchises or X-beams or whatever the hell Steve's most recent shoe is.
Yup. I can't believe Keith Jones lets him wear those shoes. Someone should send Keith the online reviews of Stevie's shoes--most of them say that they're horrible, awful shoes (kicksology.net). Will it take another painful case of plantar fasciitis for Stevie (and Keith for that matter) to realize that Reebok's suck?
