Hornets, because I'm a fan of CP3 and David West.
Of course, everyone wants to see the Hawks upset the world by beating Boston and then making it to the Finals, but I don't think that could happen. If they do beat Boston, i think they could beat the cavs and probably lose to detroit, but actually, i really don't know, anything is possible

    Go Hornets

hard to pick between the Lakers and the Hawks. i picked the Hawks in the end. i don't like Boston. they are too arrogant (KG). outside of the young players, the only veterans on that team that i don't dislike are Ray, Sam, maybe James. :D

Hmm..my hatred of the Jazz pretty much trumps everything else, so I hope the Lakers beat em. I don't think anything really compares to the villainy of the Jazz.

Other than that, I like the Spurs as well. Horry is great, I like Duncan (heh a D&D player!), and the entire team plays good, solid basketball.

In the East, I wouldn't mind seeing the Magic do well.

one thing I respect about san antonio is that they just play basketball. They don't have garnett mouthing off or anybody who would mock mutombo's finger wag. and their fans are the nicest in the world

You don't like Boston because they are too arrogant, yet you want to pick the Lakers?

What makes you think the Laker players are arrogant? Can you give me a recent example of Kobe, Lamar, Pau, Luke etc displaying their arrogance?

    :D Let's see:

    Utah: Damn....
    Dallas: Check
    Phoenix: Check
Los Angeles: I feel like vomiting
Boston: I hope they get served tomorrow

I don't really like Orlando and New Orleans, but the Hornets are a good inspiring young team.

I won't necessarily root for anyone, like I do in football, but I will root against some teams :D

Between Utah and the Lakers, that's like trying to choose who is more annoying between Wesley Crusher and Barney the Dinosaur. Don't get me wrong I think Kobe is fantastic player (he's kinda ahole, not in way that helps the team), Boozer & Co. with Sloan are very good team, and the Lakers supporting cast with Gasol and Odom....is pretty great cast.

I think the Jazz are going to throw LA out of their game, when they start the rough play and flopping, especially in Utah.

Let's be honest, both teams, some players, and even good old fans just disturb my nerves a bit.....I hope they both eliminate each other and have the winner of the SA/NO series go straight to the championship.....I don't want to see LA with another title and hopefully doesn't get their grubby fingers on it either.

If we had Yao...I would've like to have seen us thrash both teams. Maybe it'll happen next year.

West - Spurs (Close to town, have to respect their team)
East - Cavs (LeBron, Big Z)

How can you not be rooting for the Hawks at least a little bit? They are a blast to watch and the upset potential is off the scale.

I root for Mr. Longoria. Are there other French models who would claim to have sex with Mr. Longoria?

Anyway, Mr. Longoria's fast, consistent, smooth penetrations for 36 minutes will get many lady fans hype up.

I want the Eastern conference or the Hornets to win.

But the more accurate way to say it is I want the Lakers, Jazz and Spurs to lose. If NO goes out, I might actually root for the Spurs in a series for the 1st time since like 99.

I just can bring myself to root for Lakers or the Jazz.....my hatred is deeply rooted for those teams.

It is like rooting for a serial killer.

The whole Laker organization radiate arrogance, from the owner to the executives, to the coach, to the players, to the fans, even the announcers and analysts.

There are exceptions, of course. The late Chick Hearn was a classy guy. I don't mind Luke Walton. Odom is too duped to be arrogant. Fisher, as much a flopper as he is, is actually a pretty humble guy. And I like Turiaf. Other than these, everybody connected to the Lakers are arrogant pricks.

I always root for the underdogs. Therefore, go Hawks! 2nd choice would be Magic.

Kobe is the most selfish, ballhog player in the league (with Lebron close in 2nd)

He first doesnt want to play in that team, second he shoots all the time, never passes the ball, then he is arrogant because he want to look like jordan, etc, etc.

Pau: Is a crybabie, always complains about everything.

I dont root for anyone now, the worst series of the year: Lakers vs Jazz
    I hope nobody wins.
Besides the fakers and the jazz, I dont mind who wins the championship.

I keep hearing about it but I believe I missed that, what happened exactly?
EASILY the Hornets, I do enjoy watching them play and I'm a fan of Chris Paul. Can't get enough of the guy, he's easily going to be the best PG for the next several years.
