It will be interesting to see what was real and what was gamesmanship regarding the surgeries needed. From what I understand...... Rafer, Battier and Tmac, and possibly Landry all need surgery.... Let's see what happens now that the season is over. DD
I wouldn't consider a visit to the dentist as surgery but other than that I don't think anyone else is having surgery.

yeah i know, the guy apparently has a great reputation for being one of the best, but this team's been injury-riddled going on 5 straight years. its either poor performance by the training/medical staff or just incredible misfortune. i hpoe the guys that need surgery get it and come back stronger than ever, and the guys that dont get surgery do everything they can to protect themselves, and take steps for prevention.

Well they did find Yao's stress fracture in the early stages, so that's good I guess. I don't think there's anything they could have done to prevent that besides playing him way less minutes.
I thought Rafer only had a severe ankle sprain. The X-rays were negative. As long as nothing is torn, I don't see why he would require surgery.
