tmac has nothing to do with how deron got hot and our point guards (sans rafer) can't guard worth ****.
In the first half Sloan dared T-Mac to beat his Jazz. They were playing him straight up for the most part, with very few doubles. T-Mac torched them so in the in second half he had to do SOMETHING. T-Mac was getting double teamed out on the perimeter if he had the ball, and was being severely denied the ball if he didnt have it. Sloan's strategy almost backfired. They forced McGrady into tougher shots when he could get one up, and made him pass the ball more. (I've never seen that many wide open misses in a half) Someone remind me again why we are griping about 12 minutes from the guy that put up 40, 10, and 5 instead of the rest of the guys not named Luis Scola who severely underperformed for 48 minutes?
WTH is wrong with you? What else do you want TMac to do? Yes, 3rd quarter was critical, so were first, second, and fourth quarter. Every single minute of a game is critical, do you want him to score every single minute? Otherwise you can just blame him for everything? Why do you even watch him play? Speaking of truth, what truth you are talking about? TMac played a great game, not perfect, but great. But it takes 5 to win a game, and we lost at defensive end. Rafer's injury was a big issue too. Remember, we lost Yao as well. Those are the truth. What's your point to go on and on and on about third quarter? Yes, he didn't score a point, his 28 points in first half made that a game, after trailing big. Because he was incredibly huge in the first half, he must be able to play like that every single quarter, to deserve your praise? It's frustrating to lose in the first round again, for the players and fans, especially Tmac, who tried everything, and Yao, who felt guilty. Really it's not the time with your 20 posts about how 3rd quarter was critical.
Wonder if a T-Mac quarter by quarter breakdown of his scoring was 10, 10, 10, 10 would it have made a difference. Well, I guess so, but then the team would have been down by 12 at halftime. That way 20 of his 40 coulda come in garbage time with the team down 20.
Did you watch the third quarter? I used to think you were critical of Tracy McGrady, now I know you are just a mindless hater. Is it McGrady's fault if Aaron Brooks doesn't even look to pass? Is it his fault that the Jazz did a good job of denying him the ball? Is it his fault Bobby Jackson went 2-12? I'm critical of his constant talk among other things, but complaining about McGrady on a night where he and Scola are the only ones who could hit the broad side of a barn just looks and sounds stupid.
Wow you're funny. How about we shift all of t-macs scored points to the first quarter. That way, the rockets will have a big lead and would never have lost. We should also shift the Jazz defense to the first quarter so that the defense will be used up on the unstoppable McGrady. Lets shift the bench score to the third quarter so that the rockets have a good start. Lets shift all the bad calls to the first quarter so that it is also used up before McGrady's energy runs out. Seriously, this isn't a strategy game. You can't choose where and when McGrady scores. The Utah had to have an answer for McGrady after his dominant first half don't you think? I'll answer your question, the third quarter was not the most critical period, and no he did not show up in that third quarter. Now answer my question. (1) is the first and second quarter important? (2) did t-mac show up in these two quarters? (3) When did the other rocket players show up in the game? Ye I thought so too buddy.
(1) Every Qtr except the 4th in this game is important. But the 3rd Qtr is the most critical and important. (2) Yes he did, but not in the 3rd Qtr. (3) We are discussing the performance of Tmac. He's our best player who could play tonight so don't try to blame his performance on the role players. What makes you think I'd worship the Jazz? Now answer my question.
I think you're worshipping the Jazz because you're a knucklehead who thinks McGrady is the reason for our lost and does not deserve any props. Any rocket player should know that t-mac played his heart out this game. There are tons of t-mac critics here who gave t-mac props during this game because he showed up and gave a good performance. Only you think he hasn't played well. I'm not blaming the role players, but it was mostly their fault this game am I not right? T-mac is the best player, but were you expecting 50 from T-mac tonight? Answer my questions. Our first 19 point deficit was in the second quarter, are you saying its not important?
You are an idiot to imagine that. When did I say Tmac is the reason for our loss? I said he doesn't deserve the props in this thread because he did not deliver in the 3rd qter which is the most critical period in the game. What do you still not understand there? Either you are dumb or you are playing dumb. And how do you relate what I said to the Jazz? I said Tmac did not deliver in the 3rd qtr...and therefore I love and worship the Jazz? Is that the logic that you are using in the post? Seriously, you are dumber than a sack of nails. Can you even read? I have said every quarter in this game is important except the 4th. And I said the 3rd Qtr is the most important. What do you still not understand? Now I think you are not playing dumb. You are just dumb.
Flying Macgrady tonight! Though I'm still unhappy with Macgrady 's performance in the last play off , especially game 6 and unhappy with his attitude and way of playing most of the time, I have to say Macgrady is really great tonight. There is no doubt that he is one of the several most talented players in NBA today. Wish you good luck next season, Macgrady!
T-Mac did all he could. He scored, rebounded, and found all the other players wide open looks. Those other players just couldn't hit the open shots.
So T-mac does not deserve any props, is that what you're saying. Man, look whose the idiot denying facts. If t-mac's performance tonight did not deserve any props, you are NOT a rocket fan, maybe you're not a jazz fan, but if you say McGrady did not deserve any props because he failed to do anything in the third, you are more ignorant than george bush. You're digging on concrete right now, you're finding things to criticize t-mac on. Why don't you critize the roll players instead? If I'm dumber than a sack of nails, you're a bigger knucklehead than shaq. Third quarter was not the most important, every quarter was just as important, why can't you just accept that fact? The Jazz made their early 19 point lead which was cut down solely by t-mac, at least he was reponsible for nearly every play that cut down that lead to 19. Then you're blaming t-mac again because he can't make his teammates make his shots and he can't once again cut down a 19 point lead by himself? Wow, you're not far from copter at this level.
he got mine too. i am worried about him though. what will he be thinking after getting busted again and not reaching the 2nd round again`?
