Battier said that if Rockets held homecourt Tracy had to deliver a 40 pt game and he did it. Too bad that the rest of the Rockets didn't deliver their promise and hold home court. :(

Good season, sad ending, 2 injury to starters... sigh. Here's hoping to next year!

We reeeeally need more help at the point. Hope Francis can come back next year as the backup point guard and that we can trade Head/Bjax for a Miller/Artest kind of player.

And we need a backup center. And no, Loren Woods is not it.

I guess his teammates promised him they wouldn't be there for him tonight in the 2nd half.

I wasn't really watching the Rockets early in the year because of school, how was Francis doing? Was he effective at running the offense?

I remember when Adelman decided to give him playing time. Maybe he wasn't in his best shape but he gave us something very important - HEART and EFFORT

Great game by McGrady. He did his Superman impression for the second game in a row but the other guys were overmatched and the injuries were just too much.

I'm so damn proud of this team. They don't have anything to be ashamed of. Let's hope for a healthy 08-09 season.

You guys fail to realize what this is going to do to Luther Head. He thinks he's not good enough to compete, so he is going to work so hard this offseason. You will see a new player next season.

    Eat crow.

T-mac played a commendable game tonight. There was absolutely no way we would win this series in my opinion... the fact that we even took it to six games was pretty amazing.

The most important thing is T-mac's fg% improved a lot during the last 2 games of the series. His midrange shooting stroke looked pretty solid and gave me some hope that he hasn't lost his stroke completely.

I think he needs to eliminate the 3 point shooting from his repertoire.... or find a way to improve it. Unless he finds a way to improve his 3 pointers during the offseason, every 3 point shot he takes at a 28% clip is extremely inefficient for the team. The problem is that with Yao on the team, T-mac will probably have to take at least a couple 3 pointers a game.

Glad the Rockets can get some much needed rest and retool a bit over the offseason.

He'll do it elsewhere... in a nice package deal most likely.

luther head is the worst player in the nba. that's not hyperbole. nobody is worse at his job and still gets minutes. maybe smush parker.

Why didn't that happen after last year's playoffs. I'm sorry, but we game him two chances in a playoff series, and he couldn't do it either time. I'm just pray we won't sign to a huge contract like we did for Matt Maloney.

I dunno, a choker in the playoffs doesn't really have much value. Think we can actually get rid of him without straight up cutting him?

As the season progressed and he got more fit he probably would have been effective. He was already doing pretty good at fast breaks and he seemed to get to the foul line a decent amount. His free throw shooting sucked though.

Several players will rehabiltate their injuries in next several weeks, but the story tonight was how Rockets got the Respect from the Jazzhole bench. We will be back next year with vengeance from Yao and Tmac. Have a great summer guys. I wonder if Rockets will have a deep sea fishing trip somewhere. Peace! :(
