Under the circumstances, Rockets had a wonderful year. They just need to practice free throws and stay healthy. It has been fun guys, see you guys next season. Next year..It's really time..seriously......

Aside from keeping everyone healthy, the most important thing to do next season is get rid of Head and B-Jax. As long as we're relying on them to make shots, we ain't gonna win squat. Yao or no Yao.

Novak is a great shooter, but he can't play a lick of defense so he gives back whatever he scores.

This is why game 4 was so important. It was close, we had that game but too many turnovers, we practically handed that game to them. If we won that game, we would have come back to Houston with an even series, we could have afforded to lose this game, and still have a chance. This is why we have to win those close games.

Also, when Rafer plays well, our team is a completely different team. So much better. This is why we need a good point guard. That should be our top priority. Rafer was inconsistent. When he played great , like against the Lakers when he went off with those 3's during the 22 game win streak, we were unstoppable. When he sucked, our team went to Hell. the point position is so critical. Especially in the west with the likes of Williams, Nash, Parker, Paul.

Despite the unfortunate injuries, I'm proud of this team overall. I think we got better, just some bad luck with injuries. I hope Morey can work some more magic and get us some more great talent under the radar. I hope next year we'll have our breakout year.

When Jazz sent all their starters in third quarter, Adelman still believed Rocket's bench players can buy TMac some time!!

Can you explain why TMac needs more rest than other players just after a half-break??? Was he really that tired???

novak was shooting lights out when he was in the game. the ESPN commentators were amazed at his stroke.

he should be in the line up more next yr b/c he's phenemonal shooting the ball. but hopefully coaches work with him on rebounding and defense.

That's normal, if the player drives into the rim like TMac, it will get tired a lot faster.

This Team will be back and they will be a true contender next season. Question will be who will be back next season?

TMac, Yao, SF3, Rafer, Scola, Landry, Battier, Brooks, Novak, Harris, Hayes

I don't know about Deke(I hope he does come back), Woods?, Head?, Jackson?

but that's the way great teams win. phil does that with kobe all the time this yr and during his championship years. that was a good move by adelman.

but adelman had too much confidence in his role players tonight. i think he anticipated a lot of attention on tmac and told his role players to take things upon themselves and kill that utah's strategy (b/c of how good they were in game 5). unfortunately that backfired.

but that strategy is a sign of a great coach. you have to have trust in your players (which JVG never showed). this will pay off next yr. (though it doesn't matter how much you give to luther, he just never gives it back).

I give little credit to the jazz, they play like a bunch of thugs, except for Williams. Which explains why they are not too good on the road as the referees do not allow them to do that on the road. The Rox would have beat them with a healthy squad and the Lakers will beat them in 5.

The next dude that says Rick Adelman should be fired ought to have his head examined!

THANK YOU ROCKETS FOR A GUTSY EFFORT!! We could have packed it in after Yao went down, but they went down like men!

Andre Johnson...Yao Ming...dammit I just want ONE season with no injuries on my Rockets / Texans / Astros!!

But all we will hear about all next year is 0-7 for Tracy.

Seriously to these reporters and writers: take a stab at some originality.

Luther Head .... the guy is nice guy and I want him to do well, but he was a no show this year again in playoffs. i guess he will have to redeem himself with another team. Hopefully, it won;t be against Rockets.

    Minor critique on tonights game

I really think RA shouldn't have trusted BJax with the point job after Rafer went out injured. I think Sloan's pull-out-a-player-after-they-miss-3-shots theory is incredibly valid and would have minimized the damage in the 3rd. I know we're super thin with just AB as the 3rd-stringer but we definitely shouldn't be trying to play from behind after each mistake makes the gap even more insurmountable. That demoralizes the team (esp. T-Mac) and reduces our chance of success. Also, I realize BJax is basically playing out of his comfort zone when he's running the point like a starter but that only adds to my belief that he should have been pulled early in the third after he clanked a bunch of jumpers...

Also, with the Jazz shooting lights out from the three point line we should have subbed out Battier or Hayes earlier for Novak to give us some offensive punch.

Anyways, a great effort by the team this year, and I hope we improve our depth in the offseason.

Props for the streak and the year-long hustle.

    Don't flame me please.
