well he did have 47 earlier this year in utah and i know he scored over 40 before two seasons ago or maybe 3 in utah too. i think he is going to not settle and just drive hard to the basket, i mean there is nothing for the rockets to lose really. i think if he has that aggressive mentality from the get go its good. the times when tmac scores a lot of points he is usually going to the hoop i am sure if he misses a few jumpers he will drive hard. my deal is that i hope he is driving whenever possible to the hoop even if he misses usually good things happen for the team when he does that

i don't think it's for game 6. he told on the video hilltopper posted that his teammates said "we'll defend homecourt" (which didn't happen), and he should just win one of the games in utah by scoring 40 (which hasn't happened).

great. just great... this will prob result in Tmac taking 40 shots, not necessarily scoring 40pts. i really hope he just plays within the flow of the offense and not ball-hogging to be able to say 'he did his part'. at this point winning is everything - actually - at EVERY point winning is everything. Do you guys actually listen to the damn interview? He said he was going to play just like last game, and doesn't care about getting 40. Much like anything invovled with T-Mac, a simple, innocent quote taken entirely out of context.
i'd be mad if he jacks the ball and gets 40 with sub-40 percentage and lead to a loss. it's all good if we win.
It's not the regular Rockets fans doing this. It's the ones who cheer for a player instead of the team. It irks them that the Rockets can still be this good.
Well I can't say I like it but damn if that was true I would be happy. He is capable of scoring 40. He played really well in Game 5, looked like he found his better shooting rythm. He can score 40 and it would be needed but as I have always said - everybody on this team have to compete. We can't have only T-Mac scoring 40 and 2 leading scorer for example Rafer with 6. A lot of people tought that Kirilenko is that great defensivly and T-Mac just has tough time with him. Well I'd say it was because of T-Mac's pretty bad rythm (shooting). T-Mac can outplay Kirilenko everytime he wants, he can drive on him and what's important Kirilenko is long but Tracy can easily jump over him and knock down jumpers (like he did in game 5) We need big game from him because Jazz are gonna be determinated. But he also needs to have help.
Tmac can score 40+ in any game if he 'wants' to and sets his mind on it. He is too talented not to. Beat the Jazzholes.
Tmac got to make sure that his 40 pts come from majority of him making FT. Because we don't want Tmac jacking up shots and his teammates standing around and watch.
