if he can keep improving that mid-range J and have some semblance of a post-up game, he can be one of hte up and coming young all-stars. he has that potential.
Untouchable? No. Likely NOT being traded? Yes. Landry is young cheap (this year anyway) and is ingrained into Adelman's rotation. We're not going to get a high priced Allstar like Elton Brand for him unless we package a 2 for 1, and we lose depth in the process. Plus Elton Brand is a #1 option on offense type of guy, when we don't really need that in our PF. We need blue collar lunch pail guys who play well without the ball, like our tandem Scolandry does. And wth is this infatuation with Landry's height over and over again whenever his ability and skills come up? He's not getting owned by any PF that I remember and he doesn't guard against C for the most part. Okur hasn't abused him when Landry has had to guard Okur in the series. Some of you guys have OCD on his height. And I gotta claim ownership on the Landry = a better version of Swift comparison. I mentioned this a while ago in another thread.
Anyone still remember Amir Johnson? Remeber that so many of you won't mind to offer full MLE to this guy?
I think we need more than a point guard a sub point guard, move bjax to sub and upgrade what you can from Luther Head to Mike Harris and to Hayes if necesary to get another center because mutombo is not coming back.
