I'm sure a lot of you have seen their song Last Nite on MTV2. This band, The Strokes, is really something special. I picked up their debut yesterday, its a real solid album all the way through. It's just...nice, makes me feel good, just like rock and roll is supposed to do. Mmmm...I Stroked it in the car this morning. Made me ready for school. Has anybody else picked up this album? It's good sheeyot.
The thing about the Strokes is they sound EXACTLY like a band from the early 80's. Funny how the next big thing is really just the past big thing.
Like the 80s. They sound like a band from 60s. But music always repeats itself so I guess it's inevitable.
My roommate saw The Strokes in concert not too long ago. She said it was good. Her boyfriend likes them quite I bit I think. Anyway, just thought I would share.
