We can't think about Game 7. More specifically I think establishing an early lead is important. The Jazz have been able to establish nice cushions in the first half and while the Rox have come back in the second half it usually hasn't been enough to make up the first half cushions. The Rox need to come out tough early and make sure they go into half time with a lead. In the articles from Utah the Jazz players were saying they were rushing shots and relying too much on jump shooting because they got behind. The Rox need to put them in that same situation again.
Make the Free Throws and I can not believe I am going to say that but, utilize Mutumbo more on the offensive end. If we get 10 points out of Keke in the Center position that will be huge if he keeps moving, he is usually left open, he will attack the rim to get a dunk or a foul and put their players on the bench and get FT.
be not fooled by a 2-3 defecit. I know the team feels the same way, it doesnt feel like we are down. for me, I missed Game 1 for the first time in probably 15 years because of work. Game 2 blew by and we were in a hole. but we are back now. we took over the momentum with game 5. going in down 1-3, we were tied in quarters played in the series- 4-4 we dominated every quarter and now lead that category 8-4. to Carlos Boozer- C U This Sunday
it's absolutely crucial that we have hot shooting beyond the arc if we want to win game 6. I'm talking Rafer making 6 or 7 three's like in all of our big wins this year. our success really hinges on Rafer's 3 point shooting. it can make or break us.
Build on the McGrady high postup. When Utah denies it by sending a man to front, we've got to have the cuts down that lead to a bucket to get them back to their man. They're gonna front him on the double and try to prevent entry. Gotta have the countermove already in place.
mcgrady has been scoring more in every game i think they are improving..... if jackson scored more than 10 i'd be impressed or Looser(luther) head......
I think Deke playing a good amount of minutes helped a lot. We need his rebounds. We need to rebound well and not miss freebies. Stick w/ our D and we should be in good shape.

Let's shoot about 50% or more fiel goal, 80% free throw, rebounding, close the pain and make sure it spelled painful, swamp defense like last game. Let T-Mac post up again since noone could stop him. And please make sure put out a hunt for Luther he has been missing since the playoff started.
SHOT SELECTION AND DRIVE TO THE HOLE MAKE UTAH DEFEND ALL NIGHT LONG START POSTING LANDRY MORE AND LET HIM TAKE TO THE GOAL SEE WHAT HE CAN BRING. FORCE OKUR TO DEFEND HIM OR SCOLA WHOEVER HE IS COVERING GET HIM INTO FOUL TROUBLE. OUTSIDE OF HIM AND WILLIAMD WHO ELSE CAN BEAT US? BUT OUR SELVES. LOVE YOUR ROCKETS GUYS WE CAN DO IT!
Contain DWill, and step out on the 3 point line and shut that part of their offense down. We did that in game 5. They love shooting 3s and we did a great job of stepping out and not giving them enough space to get the shots off. Defense is the key.
1) bench production.... head's been non existent, that piece of crap. 2) FT 3) play even more solid D than game 5 because Utah will come out with fire and aggression. Like boozer said, they aint coming back to houston. 4) tmac stepping up just a bit in the 4th, aint too much to ask i hope. 5) our 2 headed PF gotta continue out play boozer/okur.
We have to make sure we continue to use the motion aspect of Adelman's offense, with the pick and roll mixed in just as a change of pace. When we spread the floor, we are faster than the Jazz at just about every position. We must utilize this quickness to get to the hole. Bobby Jackson looked a heck of a lot better shooting layups as he slashed to the rack than he did shooting off-balance threes after dribbling around wasting the shot clock for 23 seconds. This was really the main difference in game 5, I think. We always play strong D, and when our offense is flowing, our players aren't so tired from having to go one on one every possession. That's also one reason that T-Mac's shooting percentage went up. T-mac was also not as tired because he didn't have to shoulder the load and create every shot opportunity for either himself or other players, like in other games.
And oh yeah, Scola putting his hands UP when he runs out to Okur on the three point line. Okur hits nearly every uncontested three, but with a hand in his face, almost never hits.
