No, because most of the people who actually listened to him for all those years didn't take away that message from the majority of his sermons. So if that was part of his master plan he failed at that.

Not for Profit has as much if not more to do with how they can make money rather than not making money at all. They can make tons of money, pay people salaries, and expenses. They may not invest the money in stocks, and play the markets. They need to have a mission statement and goal or purpose they are working towards, etc. There is no rule, or regulation preventing them from making money.
non-profit means that individuals cannot profit from the income payroll is treated as an expense there is abuse unfortunately, IMO churches have become more like for profit organizations
