I landed a helicopter on the observation deck, couldn't snipe anybody (too high up), then accidentally committed suicide with an RPG.
Spoiler So far so good just finish bowling with michelle , the only problem i have is the loading times for the cutscence about taking women to different date destinations.
How much time have you logged? I've played about 7 1/2 hours worth with no single stretch longer than 2 1/2 hours.
When you go to get a hamburger from that craphole old school diner, the girl there always says something smartass. "Here you go fatso" "I dropped this on the kitchen floor." It finally pissed me off so I unloaded about 20 rounds from my uzi in her chest and she bled all over the counter.
played the game for a couple of hours and thought the game was overall pretty good. after taking someone out the 2nd time around, they noticed i had different shoes on and thus complimented me. i thought that was pretty cool.
Well I got a 360 and GTA4 today. Very impressed so far. The graphics are great. After dying one time I decided to go postal outside the hospital and it looked just like a movie... Anyway I'm gonna play it for a few days then jump online to give that a go.
Thats moot. The PS3 version has better anti aliasing so it looks smoother and has no pop ins like the 360 version but they look about the same. Trust me, its being overblown by more than a longshot
You know, it was a worthwhile arguments back in the days where "It has better graphics" meant that a basketball in NBA Live look rounded isntead of like 6 orange pixels stuck together.....but these days they ALL have great graphics. So lets stop the fan boy whinging and stick to talking about what is a great game on ALL systems!
I think your dedication to SF2 just went from extreme to slightly disturbing, but that's okay. Yay handcuffs and phantom throws! Can't wait for SF2 HD and Tekken 6 to come out! ...but to get back on topic, I picked up the game for PS3, and I have a 60GB model. I let it install, but haven't really played it yet. I'm considering whether I'll just wait to see if they come out with a patch soon before I start playing, because it would be a bummer to get into it and then have it freeze.
No sales for the US yet (AFAIK), but we got some good numbers from the UK: http://www.mcvuk.com/news/30423/GTA-IV-smashes-one-day-sales-record Seems like both versions sold out (I think bundles too?), so sales could have possibly been even more impressive. If sales in the US and the rest of Europe are anything like this....
I only got to play for like 10 minutes last night after the game. Start of the game, I walk right out of Roman's apartment building, I stop while reading some instructions and tips popping up on the screen and, while I was reading, this mofo was in my guy's face just talking sh**. So, once I was done reading, I started to run off to where I was supposed to go and the dude follows me yelling at me. I stop and he starts wailing on me. I was like, "WTF!" I start to punch him back and some other random dude gets in on it and start beating the crap out of me too. Well, I end up at the hospital. I thought this was a scripted event they put in just to show you what happens if you get hurt or where the hospital is but, I found out later on, that it actually wasn't. I still don't understand why that dude just came up and started messing with me. LOL!!! I'm the world's worst GTA player though, I died only 5 minutes into the game per above and I've been trying to not run people over while driving. Hey, what can I say, I'm a pixelatariun.
