Great game by tmac. Now if he could only give more than just 1 great game in a series that would be lovely. I think its the first game he rises to 50% fgs, stole a ball and made a basket from it, and he also had a blocked shot. From past exprience the next game he is going to suck bad and its going to be over for the rockets. I would sure be happy to be wrong.

Wow. Just wow. The Jazz choked. Very early in the game, the second Spazz possession, Okur makes an easy pass to Kirilenko. Butt-Ugly fumbles the ball, which goes out of bounds. I turned to my wife and said, "I think this is going to be a good game. Utah looks tight." And were they ever. MAJOR choke job by the Spazz.
Please, Luther Head played horrible. He turned the ball over, missed open shots and open layups. Luther did not contribute one bit yesterday. How could you say he's the "player of the game." You must not know much about basketball.

I think the turning point of the game came in the first quarter where neither team was shooting well, but the Jazz suddely were ahead anyway, like in some of the past games. It looked like they might incrementally outscore us and build up a double digit lead again if the trend allowed. THe score was 10-8, Utah, and then Rafer hit a three pointer to get us the lead at 11 to 10. After that we pretty much didn't look back, and all the bounces went our way.
I didn't get to watch the game last night, which figures. Stupid NBATV aka pay per view. I'm waiting so eagerly for someone to post a torrent to the game.
Does this win remind anyone of game 6 2005? we had a blow out win when we were down 2-3 and everyone thinks great, we have a chance. i still remember yao and tracy stood together, laughing at the end of the game. then game 7 at dallas, refs used half the first quarter to send a clear statement: no, you don't. still remember the tech of tracy.... he got pulled down from a layup but no call. he yelled at the ref just next to the rim and got a T. bad feeling.
Yeah, my cable just doesn't have it because I suck in the eyes of the basketball gods. I was dead set on getting NBA League Pass before the season started (upgrading my cable), but only Direct TV offers it. Does anyone know where I could watch it now if I'm an impatient little girl with the day off? Rockets2K is awesome and deserves major props for what he regularly does for everyone. It is in no way his fault that I missed the game and have a bad Rockets itch right now.
