So was the message, "it takes five?" btw-our cable went out in the third, this is by cell... my Dad's down there & kept me updated.
I would vote to include Badgerfan and Rofflesaurus to be banned as well. All their post is either bashing TMac or loving Yao. Just do a search. They are not true Rockets fans.
documents have now been released. They state that 48 hours ago, Utah wanted our unconditional surrender. At 2200 hours, tuesday, the sloanists received a message, and it read: "you are nuts!!!111!" =)
29pts, 5reb, 5ast, 2stl - Rockets 95 - Jazz 60freaking9 (only off their season average by 37). Message received, SLC? By the way, 80% (-1 All Star) starter strength Rockets are 2-1 against full-strength Jazz. Imagine how it will feel if Utah loses to a Yao-less Rockets? Now imagine Utah playing this series without either Williams or Boozer. Do they break 75pts in ANY game (its not a pure math thing btw)?
so basically, it played out like this? i realize that i have the benifit of hindsight, but wow, i was kind of hoping the fans would at least be sporting the heart of a champion. instead, all i read is about how its over and whine and blubber. A team's heart comes from the fans. It is why Dallas and Utah will never win it all. T-Mac says exactly what he thinks, that is it. There was no other motivation for saying this. He was just determined to let them know he wasn't done and told a guy about it. Grow a pair; and even if you can't bring yourself to believe, at least hope. Do you really try to call yourselves fans?
Man T-Mac just please dont say anything until you prove it. If I were the opposing team I wouldnt give two cents to any of McGrady's comments. McGrady isnt a player that I would fear. Now when you talk about players that teams fear: Kobe, Ginobili, Duncan, Lebron, and Deeeewayne Wade wuz happenin. None the less I hope McGrady does back up what he says but more importantly I hope the rest of the team can show up as well!
...says one of the biggest Tracy only fans on the board. If you actually read any of my posts you'd know that I like Scola, Battier, Hayes, Landry and Brooks a lot. As for T-Mac, he's gifted but if you can't see that along with those gifts are some legitimate targets for criticism you're blinded by hero worship.
Yea right, you, antisonic and rofflesourus are major TMac haters. 90% of you guys posts are hating on TMac and 10% are praising these other players (mainly because so credit does not go to TMac). Go search your own posts. e.g. If we win, people like you would say great game by Landry! We won because of Scola! They have heart unlike TMac blah blah. All conveniently ignoring that TMac is playing through major injuries right now. I am not blinded by Hero worship and not really a TMac only fan, I don't go around creating threads or posts about how great TMac is. I only defend TMac when blind haters like you attack him. I am actually a Yao only fan and would defend him as I have on other BBS. Sure I would use Yao every now in my posts but thats just as an example to show how idiotic some of your arguments about TMac are.
And so none of the criticisms leveled at T-Mac are valid? Again, if you can't accept and admit that T-Mac can be legitimately criticized then you're blinded by hero worship. I do criticize the guy but when I do I always address specific issues, something which you've failed to do in your post. For instance, this whole "send a message" thing makes me wonder where his head's at. What kind of message is it if you win one game but lose the series? Do you think the Jazz are going to care about a message, about one game, if they win the series? If T-Mac wanted to send a message in game 5 then he had better understand that he's got to send a message in games 6 and 7. Obviously winning a series is a whole lot easier if you're not one game away from elimination. If T-Mac wanted to send a message with his play he should have done it at the start of the series, not when the Rockets have their backs against the wall.
