I've been playing on the 360 for about 1 1/2 hours. No problems thus far. Loading times aren't bad and are infrequent.
Yeah, I played an hour at lunch on my 360 and not one glitch at all. Looks like PS3 just can't handle a great game.

don't you understand that this happens on 360 just as frequently as on PS3s? Only you can't pinpoint the problem on the 360, while the PS3 is pinpointed to only happening on 60GB models.
I asked today when I went to Game Stop at lunch if they had heard anything about freezing. They said no. I am messing with you. Don't get defensive. I have both. Very big video game fan. All my friends are on Xbox live so I go with it. I hope everyones video game machine runs flawlessly and beautifully.
good thing i have an 80gb. (knock on wood, i dont want to be the 1st 80gb with problems) my friend just called and his xbox 360 version is messed up, things aren't loading up correctly, random freezes.. good luck to everyone lol this game is too epic for this kind of bad luck to be going around
The 360 is the platform that will have the additional download content for GTAIV. It's supposed to be 2 parts, with the first one being released sometime later this year. Each part is supposed to be around 10 hrs long, so anyone on the fence about which system to get the game for, I'd say get it for the 360. No exclusive download content for the PS3.

Hardly a "well-timed pwn." The PS3 will get downloadable content for sure, and may get some exclusive home themed characters, trophies, etc... But the 360 will get the same plus their exclusive episodic content. Two episodes that will be 10 hrs each like I said before. MS has let R* borrow 50 mil in advance so that MS can get these episodes to be exclusive to their system. You better believe that these "episodic contets" will only be on the 360.
I have a 60 gig I bought in March of 07 all updated (not tampered with in any way), two dualshock controllers, wired internet, and HDMI out to 1080i TV. I don't think it has to do with that though, it seems like more and more owners of the other sizes are having the same issue as the day goes on. The forums are all a horrible source for news though because fanboys of both sides do everything they can to change the subject. I'm hoping it will be an easy install glitch like R&C had, but I think it will come down to a section of bad discs. I was on the phone with R* a few minutes ago and they were more tight-lipped about it than they were this morning. I have a feeling there will be a whole new wave of upset people in the next few hours. (I hope it happens to none of you, I may be the only one with the problem here. Let's hope it stays that way.) Well, so much for my plan of good mojo before tonight's game.
They'll have a patch for it. It just spoils that "Christmas morning" giddyness that comes with getting a new game on release day. I think with Bully, R* even sent out replacement discs to XBOXers. I just hope they have a fix for it soon. I'm jonesin over here!
Thank god...played on my 360 for 2.5 hours...no problems. It actually runs quieter on my xbox than halo or COD4.
