Why does the media now hate him? Do they think it is now a free-for-all on Roger and MLB players in general? What that one idiot did to Tejada was one thing (that guy is a nobody and kinda dumb) but now they are going after everyone with a vengeance.
The story here is Roger brought this upon himself by filing a lawsuit against McNamee claiming defamation of character. The media is reporting on it because he is probably the greatest baseball pitcher of the last 40+ years. If you have a problem with media in sports in general...well, I can't really disagree there. I think the media in general has some big issues. That said, this story isn't their "fault".

yeah...the miggy thing is ridiculous. ESPN in general is ridiculous. It's hard to imagine there are people out there who watch it for anything other than highlights and actual games.
We've got to stop associating Clemens with the Astros. He's no longer a player and wasn't even here a majority of his career. Cut his name loose from the organization.
I agree on the lawsuit aspect, if your going to pursue that, you know the other side will eventually dig skeletons from your closet also that's why alot of people just let it go...
