sure........ok.........so?????? I'm not hatin or nothin but if someone saw you this would be a textbook violation of rule 222454 which states "thou shalt not post useless knowledge that others already know unless there is a question posed" Please revise your question/statement and try again. Thank you for using the CLutchBBS System...........Also, in contradiction to your post, I think that the Kings do not have what it takes yet. Shaq is pretty much covered with C-Webb and Divac but what about Kobe?

the defense of Doug Christie can contain Kobe from a career night and Peja can smother Rick Fox or any other punk they put up on him.

You did know Kobe had 47 and 48 points in successive games in last season's playoffs against Christie right. I think he had a career high 16 rebounds in one of those games too.

Honestly, if you run enough plays for Fox, I don't think Peja can stop him from getting his 15 points or so. Apart from Shaq and Kobe, I think Fox is by far the most talented player on the Lakers, sure he's not athletic but he's the only guy who can do something other than stand there and shoot jumpers. Lindsey Hunter looks to be the 4th best individual player on the team.

That all meant nothing since Fox won't be asked to do a lot on offense, just keep Peja in check, like he did in last season's playoffs.

I think if any team can beat the Lakers, it's Sacramento, I still think the Lakers will definitely win a 7 game series though..

I don't think Bibby has added defense at all since he gets abused everytime I see him and he's slower than Jason Williams. But he's a really mid range shooter, pretty consistent from what I saw, so I think that's his main advantage over Jason.

i think getting Bibby was a great move for the kings, but i don't think they can beat the lakers, i think they are second in the nba with dallas. i think Lakers wil be champions for the third year, and i don't know who they will face in the conference finals, Dallas or Kings

I think if anyone is to beat them it will be the Kings. I believe Shaq yesterday said something like "Every game is a home game for us except Sacramento" I interpret this as saying the only games they are not 100% confident in winning are at Sac.

it does not matter how good bibby.. peja.. webber are..
it is all about stopping Shaq... they need to find a way to contain Shaq in playoff.

THEY DONT NEED TO STOP SHAQ...THEY GOT ENUFF WEAPONS NOW TO SIMPLY OUTSCORE THEM...LET SHAQ HAVE HIS 50 POINTS...IF SHAQ GETS 50..THEN THAT MEANS LESS SHOTS FOR KOBE...SHAQ WOULDNT SCORE 50 ON WEBBER/DIVAC/POLLARD ANYWAYS..DA KINGS HAVE IMPROVED ALOT SINCE LAST YEAR...THEY GOT A CONSISTENT PG NOW..AND A BETTER TURKOLU ON DA BENCH

All caps might get your post seen, but it will not necessarily get your post read.

when shaq scores 50pts.. his fg % will be somewhere around 60%... he will never force himself to score 50 when he gets low fg%.. If he gets 50pts 60%,it is impossible to beat lakers.

I have been watching the Kings for about 3 years now. They have what it takes, They play awesome Team Basketball, Vlade Divac and Chris Webber are very good passers, Peja Stojakovic and Hedo Turkoglu are excellent pure shooters, Doug Christie is a Defensive maven, Bobby Jackson and Scot Pollard could start for a lot of teams, Then you have Mike Bibby who is supposed to be the missing piece, all they want him to do is be the anti-J-Will. Then You have Guys like Gerald Wallace Lawrence Funderburke and Mateen Cleaves who are talented but can't get any minutes. Add the best Fans in the League at Arco Arena there have turned into a unstoppable force, SA will get overwhelmed by their run and gun, The Only teams that can beat them are The Lakers and The Clippers.

Do we have a bbs ettiquette post around here for all the newbies to read? Maybe they could break in to posting on the board a little more easily.

I'll break it down simply for you Asian Baller:

    1. Post in English (not dewd speak) - the more coherent your posts are, the more respect you will get.
    2. Do not post topics in all caps, and don't post in all caps either.
    3. Show respect for other posters, and never attack other posters personally.
    4. Treat the admins and moderators with respect.
    5. If this is too difficult for you, lurk on the site for a few months and pick up the culture before posting. This is NOT ESPN and nobody should post like it is.

Oh, and for the record - Sacramento has a great team and is super fun to watch. They share the ball and points very well. They are the perfect model of a great non-playoff team. However, this may not transition very well to winning a championship because they don't have anyone who is clearly "the man". Chris Webber is no Reggie Miller - and Stojakovic, while a great talent has not proven himself to be the man yet either.

I don't think that Sacremento can stop the Lakers. Christie can never stop Kobe, maybe one game, but that's not enough. En Shaq is way to strong for Divac, so he go's for 40/20 a night. Maybe if Webber plays great, they win two games.

The Kings have improved since last year because Bibby is a steady player at the point. The rest of the team is gelling, but they were scared of facing Shaq in the playoffs last year, both Divac and Pollard admitted to that, and Webber is not strong enough to face him either. If Shaq plays aggressively and Webber is the primary defender, then Chris will end up fouling out quickly.
