Good thread idea! It's been way too negative on this board and a pure praise thread is needed!!! The Rockets ... what's not to like? Steve Francis is gradually becoming the leader of this team and a star in the league. (forget the freaky All-Star weekend please!) Cuttino is becoming a little more consistent over the month of January. And in him I can see room for improvement in a lot of areas. Eddie Griffin is impressing more and more people even non-Rockets fans. KT ... what more can I say about this guy? Some people think he's garbage, but then look at his numbers and you'll find out he's the most improved Rocket this season. And the team spirit of the Rockets is the most appreciated. I've never seen a team that lost 15-16 in a row played with any fire. While Stevie was out for that stretch, the team fought very hard just to lose every game. Yes, the results sucked, but the effort was there. And it showed! The "never give up" attitude is one of the reasons why I love my Rockets! (no tanking!!! ) Go Rockets!!!
My favorite thing about the Rockets will probably always be that they had Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon. He is the reason I became a fan of the Houston Rockets in the first place.
I loved the game against memphis. The Rockets shot poorly but won it with defense. Cat played great defense tonight, and made a great adjustment taking the ball to the hole when he wasn't hitting the outside shot. Way to go Rockets.
