I am pretty sure of it. It's rare that we can lose badly on fg%, ft%, and rebounding yet only lose by a few points. Granted Utah may shoot better from the arc but a few things are clear. 1. We have shown improvement on defense each game of the series. Their offense doesn't look as crisp. You can see that Adelman has fully adjusted to forcing them into a jumpshooting team except for control deron's pentrations which let's face isn't going to happen. 2. Odds of T-mac, Rafer, and Jackson all having such atrocious shooting nights combined with a subpar game from Scola isn't likely 3. We'll be home and the crowd will be a-rockin' Seriously - I think we've learned how to compete with this team, and every game is going to be close, but I can taste victory Monday night
I hope you're right, especially since I'll be there. I don't want to leave Toyota Center with a bad taste in my mouth all summer.
Rockets will win and send it back to Utah. I don't want to see Utah close out the series in HTown. I hope the Fans at the game come ready like the fans in Utah. Boo the Jazz all game long.
I also feel like we will win this game. We played horrible last night and still had a chance to win or tie the game. The crowd needs to pump these guys so there can be a game 6
For game 6, we really need to be shooting real good. We need a good time from Tmac (prob. not going to happen), and excellent support team, and a great FT %. All those will mean we will win game 6. It's not likely....but it hasn't happened yet, so it's gotta happen sometime!
Man...I'm still waiting/hoping for that one game where t-mac is on fire. He gets hot like he has done in the past, we win, period. Maybe he's saving for Game 7?
We will win, yes, I believe it! I texted two people last night after the game to say so. I feel good about it. I was sooo frustrated after the loss last night, (it contributed to one of the reasons why I could not sleep last night) there were multiple chances to put the game away and we could not. Nonetheless, I am proud of the guys: Scola and Landry were awesome, McGrady and Bobby were fun to watch and did what they could, and Shane, well... I love his heart and his desire to win! He is amazing! I *just* wish that "ify" call against him was not called. We're going to be fine... Game 5 Tuesday night. Three one-game series' in a row. GO, ROCKETS! BattiersBaby.
Yeah, Houston is giving Utah all they can handle, and they are healthy. The good part about Battier being injured is in playing Utah, he really isnt needed as a stopper on a Kobe/Manu/Carmello type of player. They dont have a go-to guy that can take advantage of his injury.
I will say this I dont know if the rockets can win this series with the injuries we do have, but if the jazz do go on to win make sure they win it at salt lake in game 6. There should be no way you allow the jazz to close a series out on your home floor again. I am going to puke if I see them celebrating out there. So win game 5 and if they win game 6 (which they certainly can) then you must win game 7 at home. Bottom line do not let the jazz close the series out in Houston. Show some pride. it makes my head hurt knowing we are clearly a better team than last year and would have been the jazz this year had rafer and yao been healthy.
Game 5 is for the taking, I think there's too many factors going for the Rockets (pride/homecourt/coming off a tough loss/Rafer hitting his stride) for them to lose this one... The only question in my mind is if the momentum from a win in Houston can carry on to Utah. If Rockets win game 6, then we're set and match for what seems to be a yearly event...game 7. Then I start putting my money on the Rockets.
As I posted in another thread yesterday, it's one thing for the j*zz to beat uh in a few games......and an entirely different task for them to actually kill us. It will not be that easy.
We need to knock some of their teeth out. They foul hard and get away with it. Boozer got away with fouls on Landry. Landry needs to throw some elbows. I Hate The Jazz.
I think Game 5 is very doable. I really do believe that we will win. Our guys have a lot of heart and despite what some people say, they play hard.
