i'm getting tired of his ass flopping on the floor and crying about it. he's not getting the calls. as a result, he's leaving his man open for jumpshots and layups. people say he plays with heart. well, freakin' man up and just play some real defense. oh, and mix in a layup or two when you're under the basket.
and tell Scola to tell Mcgrady to blame the coach some more, so a feud can start and we can trade his ass.
I think he need to flop more, we getting badly outflop in this series. Well if he has a Jazz jersey he probably get the calls, to bad he is wearing the rockets jersey and we are not in the David Stern plans.
you must have gone crazy macalu.. while I agree with you that his flops are so freakin' dumb and obvious and r****ded and lame that the refs don't give him calls, and this results in him being out of position and the Jazz scoring, I actually think that we should all flop more as a team.. I want Tmac to scream his lungs out when AK reaches in, I want Deke to use his ugly @$$ voice and make a violent swimming movement with his arms to get the attention of the refs upon being touched by Okur.. we need to flop more, way more, because if we don't, we're just gonna lose... forget sportsmanship and ethics and values, winning is #1, and against a dirty ugly team like those Jazzholes, I don't have a problem retaliating using the same dirty tactics.. heck, I don't even mind someone blowing Deron's knee..
i was thinking the same thing, they don't buy it, and they get an easy bucket with Scola on the floor. Battier has done it a bit too much in this series. We need to keep that out of the game. Kerilienko take it to the extreme though, with his arms flying in the air & and the feminine screaming.
1. Scola has nearly outplayed Boozer this series, wow 2. Scola... Some of those damn things you do... Its everything thats wrong with the NBA. Seriously.
I don't have a problem with him flopping considering he hasn't done it a whole lot. I just wish he would relax more on offense and not make things so hard for himself. He really can turn an easy wide open layup, into a block somehow. Also over half the fouls called on him this series has been some serious b/s calls. Jazz player runs into scoul FOUL ON SCOLA.
9 out of 10 times, scola just tries to draw a charge, which is well within the rules. if this is "flop", then what do you call what the jazz do? if someone say scola needs a bit more concentration rather than putting drawing charges in defense, then i can agree. he's not good at drawing charges anyway, compared to battier. but the op went too far imo.
lol I'd rather not see a 7'6er hitting the deck, he'd just get more injured. Plus no one would believe it... don't think anyone but Shaq could knock him down.
Co-sign.....Seriously, we need to start flopping to the max..We really need to bring in Divac in the off season and have him work with the team...Scola needs to learn how to flop the right way...Everyone need to grow there hair, so when they flop, their hair swings back, and sell the flop even better to the ref Well I dont want deron to blow out his knee, but I wish it was someway he couldnt play though
Stop the flop. Don't play for the call, play for the stop. A flop that is not called will get you in trouble, especially if you're a power forward or center. Wide open easy basket for the big man. I hate flopping as much as I hate players who drive to the basket for a foul instead of the basket.
i was pretty pissed last night when the commentators mentioned Scola's flopping but i have yet to here them say anything about the NBA's #1 flopper: AK
Scola...all he has to do is teach Alston, Battier, and Landry how to do it. AK's flopping really pisses me off.
I don't necessarily think it's always flopping. He just tries to draw a charge too often, and when he falls, he ends up giving up a layup.
