Les and Morey canned Jeff after last season thinkin this team needed to be a higher scoring team, but u are seeing now that this team is slow and cannot play really any other way with these players.

OK Madden. We should score more and we should be faster.

Do you think anything else or is there no reason for this thread?

What are you talking about? Yao Ming hasn't played all series. That's 20-25 pts a game in games that they are losing by 4-5 pts. That's the series right there. Mutombo ain't no Yao on offense.

I guess Yao was not the reason for the slow offense either.

and Steve Francis was not the reason for the bonehead errors.

Not really, if we have Yao this series, we would be score 100+ every game I bet. We are shooting terrible %s and still getting to 85 pts easily... I think if TMac has Yao here we would be cruising in this series.

JVG was a problem, now with Adelman we at least know (we should) what to play. Guys just have to make shots, this has been the biggest issue

JVG is exactly the problem. The Rockets roster had retooled by him in 4 years and totally became a offensively challenged squad.

Slow? Maybe it has to do with the fact that the Jazz have a great lineup and we are missing Yao.

Blows my mind that you expect to win. I understand wanting to win and being frustrated with losing, but c'mon...

    Adelman's
    Lineup

    Mutombo
    Scola
    McGrady
    Battier
    Bobby Jackson

    JVG's
    Lineup

    Yao Ming
    Hayes
    McGrady
    Battier
    Alston

Yao Ming would dominate Mutombo on offense!
Alston would kill Bobby on offense!
Scola scores more than Hayes, but he doesn't score nearly as much as Yao.
Scola also doesn't command a double team.
    Battier vs Battier push
    McGrady vs McGrady push.

I'm not so sure YAO would be any help in this series.....so far Boozer isn't killing the rockets like he did last year cause Chuck is a much better matchup against boozer....he's settling more for jumpshots anyways, instead of blowing by for layups like last year.

Oh, did you forget how poorly Yao played in game 7 last year?

Make the world a better place.........Punch Okur in the face!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boozer may not be going off but Okur is having a better series than last year. He doesn't have to expend the same energy on any of our bigs like he did against Yao. You stop one leak and another one forms.

Nah T-mac would play like he's playing now. He turns it up more in the Playoffs.

If Yao was here, we'd be home awaiting the Lakers.

TMAC has 0 pts in fourth for game1, 1pt for game2, 7pts on 2-8 for game 3, 1FG 4pt 50% FT for this game. I guess RA is doing so much better than JVG having the team in positions to win with the best player giving you that type of stat sheet during crunch times.
