Shaq is a complete liability on defense and he has no explosion in his legs any more. He can't even power over anyone on the offensive end. At this point in his career, I would rather have Erick Dampier <sigh>

This is the best I've ever seen Tony Parker play. If he can play at 90% of this level consistently, nobody takes SA to 6 games.

we need 3 scorers like they do in the spurs. they don't depend on any one guy offensively.

JVG on TP: pound for pound, he's got the quickest feet in the game.

Spurs are just carving Phoenix up like a chainsaw through butter.

    Parker is going nuts!

If and when T-mac plays with the same high efficiency as Parker does, there would be less whinging and whining in the GARM.

But why is he playing so well? The answer is the Phoenix defense. Lots of starting NBA point-guards looked like world-beaters against the team, esp. when Nash is forced to guard them---case in point, Rajon Rondo.

It's time to dedicate Dido's song "White Flag" to Mike D'Antoni and the Suns. :D :D :D

I started to buy into the Suns hype towards the end of the season - and figured this would be a long series. I'm feeling ashamed of myself right now.

It's scary that Parker is still only 25 years old

that's only 2 years older than I am. I feel really sad and old from hearing that :(

The thing is Parker is 2 steps quicker then anybody else on the floor save for Barbosa (who can't play defense if his life depended it). Unguardable if hes hitting 80% of his mid range shots.....

Its quite sad watching Shaq like this..... Hes not even a shell of his former self. Its like watching Hakeem in Toronto but only if Hakeem was half r****ded and lost of all his skills.

Watching Shaq constantly miss free throws and commit lane violations is just pathetic. If I were Shaq, I would take a good long look in the mirror this summer and either get my fat ass back into shape and learn to shoot or call it a career.

Shaq / Marion trade was quite possibly the worst trade in recent memory. The suns suck.

Don't blame em for the trade, they weren't going to win with Marion either so it was worth a gamble. I wouldn't be surprised if the Spurs make a clean sweep.

JVG was making fun of Mark Jackson when he said that b/c Jackson said Iverson was arguably pound-for-pound the greatest NBA player ever and JVG said something like that's stupid.

And yeah, even when the Suns played good defense (like 10 minutes total), the Spurs were just too hot hitting tough shots. And yeah, Shaq was getting abused the way Yao does at times on the pick and roll.

I wonder if Suns will blow up their roster and start over? Can the Rox grab Nash or Barbosa for expiring contracts/picks?
