http://deseretnews.com/article/1,5143,695273754,00.html WRITTEN WARNING: Jazz superfan Dr. Richard Anderson received a "written warning card" in the second quarter after shouting an expletive about a call to referee Bob Delaney. Security briefly removed Anderson from the arena to issue the printed warning. After the infamous Pistons-Pacers incident in 2004, the cards were created as part of the NBA's effort to control the behavior of fans. The single warning tells violators that continued excessive verbal abuse would lead to ejection from the game without refund.
Does anyone remember the Rockets fan that got tossed during the finals? I believe it was against the Knicks. Am I making that up or does anyone have any info on it?
I'd like to see Bullard releasing the pics that he took of all the jazz fans' signs. He seemed pretty adamant about them being classless. In other news, but in line with this thread, apparently a group of people were outside Energy Solutions Arena protesting and calling for the rest of the series to be canceled. Why? Has something to do with Texas but nothing at all to do with basketball or the Rockets. And I'll leave it at that.
I remember seeing that jazz fan in the Rockets 94 and 95 highlight videos. I'm pretty sure it was the same guy. Btw, anyone see Utah "Jazzfan" yet?? the bald headed guy with the license plate around his neck? Where's that douche?
jazz fans are ignorant, i wish they would regulate them more as far as all those idiotic signs they let them bring in, i really wish they would for one game let all the people in houston that like to show they a$$ in the lower bowl for one game, i bet the jazz wouldnt be looking as comfortable as they do when they play here
I don't like Jazz fans because some of them are going too far sometimes. I don't like some Rox fans in Toyota center even more because they look so indifferent. They don't even try or put in any love. Cheer for your home team please!
I showed my wife this picture, because I thought it was pretty damn funny. She keyed in on the women right away and said, "what the hell is up with that skirt?!? And look at the crowd- where's the hot chicks? At least Houston has good looking women in the stands."
If these are the city folks in Utah can you imagine what they look like out in the country there? geez
Yeah I am truck driver, and there is easier to find to diversity in the KKK than in utah...Everytime I got to a resturant or truckstop the only ohter black people I see are drivers too
he was at game 7 last year, right? i remember almost getting kicked out of the TC last year during game 7 for cussing out jazz fans that were talking mess.
