With all the hub bub over the democratic primary, no one actually talked about what John McCain did in the Republican Primary. We all know that he is the presidential nominee, so does everyone in his party. So how did he do, well try 73%. What does this mean? He obviously is still trying to reign in support from outliers in the party. What does that mean for him in the general, what does it mean that he can't sew up the party while basically getting a free pass?

I think it would be more pertinent with some kind of reference to how other candidates in his situation usually do.

Hard to imagine anyone doing worse? Most people who don't want vote for him would just stay hom, but 27% showed up just to vote against him?

Oh, and Ron Paul is still campaigning some. He's staying in "in case something happens".

Ron Paul is originally from Pittsburgh, so he did have some support around here (I live in Pittsburgh).
