Any time a woman acts shady or wishy-washy towards you, it's because she likes someone else and is afraid to tell you. Just move on.

outside of the initial "hey lets get together" the rest of the night was pretty spontaneous which i find works better in most circumstances. i've already moved on, or atleast like to think i have. hooked up with an old girlfriend in dallas last weekend to get my mind off this one. man dallas sucks.... yet i always leave there happy.

1. Stop thinking so much. 2. You're so money, you just don't know it. 3. When a girl says "There's someone else" I would strongly recommend that you imply that you are seeing other girls very casually, but that its no big deal and enjoy spending time with her and want to continue to see her. I don't know how old she is, but typically the young ones, like 22-25, are the most scatterbrained and "playerish." 4. Move on and don't waste your time. This girl doesn't respect you.
Not shocking about the other guy. Most women not in stable relationships are like this: You're one branch, the other guy is the other. Heck, there may be more than one other guy. Monkeys can grasp with their feet and some even have prehensile tails.

Yeah. This might be one of those times where being a jerk/douche will make her like you more. Being assertive, cocky, and rude will force her into making a decision she's hesitating on and where you asking outright usually doesn't work for the better.
