so if we get past utah, what then? Advance to the semis and then what......advance to the conf finals and then what, make it to the nba finals and beat the celts or pistons w/out Yao? man I wish we had Yao getting revenge on utah will be nice, but even that is going to be slim chance
we won 22 games in a row. Only 10 games in a row really. 12 were with Yao. Why do people confuse being realistic to being negative?
I'm going to post something controversial, again. Unreasonable expectations are behind a lot of the negativity. People who honestly thought that the Rockets could beat the Jazz without Yao are scrambling to come up with some explanation as to why the Rockets are down 0-2. By and large they fall into two camps: 1) T-Mac sucks 2) T-Mac's a god, and everyone else on the team sucks You can be a fan of the team and not be in denial. Support the Rockets, regardless of whether they win or lose. Adelman refused to criticize the team after game 2. He said that no matter what he could count on them to play their hearts out. It's the same approach that let them win 22 games in a row. If they're going to lose the series at least they're not going out soft. Losing sucks, but I'd much rather see my team go out playing their asses off. That's got to count for something.
It's not very controversial. People need to realize that it was basically only a 10 game winning streak. It was nice, dont get me wrong, but we can throw 12 of those games out cuz we had Yao. This is a completely different team. It's hard to win without a big man, which is why you have to be realistic and give McGrady a break. Ive been very critical of mcgrady in the past. he can only do so much. People also need to realize he's not Lebron or Kobe....although he's getting paid like he is. Is that really his fault that he's overpaid? that being said, i still believe
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Positive enough?
If us the fans don't believe on our team, then who will. Let's hope our guys come out the gates swinging for a change
Attitude can change the outcome of whatever you try to achieve in life. If you have the failing atttiude before you even try to give it all then you will fail. But if you approach it with a winning attitude and prepare for it most of the time you come out winning.

I think if anyone has either of those opinions, they really aren't a fan of this team. I've always been a little annoyed when people say someone sucks. If you suck, you won't get a roster spot, much less get minutes. Pretty simple. Criticism is one thing. Plenty of that around these parts. But hey, what do you expect from people 1. consider themselves hardcore fanatics 2. are "discussing" over the "makes-you-invincible(invisible)" internet?
As long as T-Mac plays for the Rockets, there will be negativity. Most of it coming since he never got out of the 1st round.
Or you can be like me and claim that we turned the ball over...stupid fouls...and crappy defense. I don't blame tmac or the rest of the squad. I blame the whole team. We can beat these guys, so we should start playing like it. Nevertheless, hearing guys that say "well, the series is over!" and then when we win you jump on board again. It kind of seems like your the patriot among the traitors!
It's still 22 in a row...10 without a major piece. Why would that lessen the meaning of it? Want reality? One other team in the history of the NBA has won at least 22 in a row. Sometimes 2nd best doesn't matter, but in this case 22 games in a row with this roster...c'mon man. That's special. Remember when Portland had that 12-13 game winstreak or whatever and everyone was "oh check them out." 22 games...that's just special. Of course I want them to make noise in the post season, but I won't let that result diminish the amazing accomplishment of The Streak.
