Sorry. You missed the ~47 months of Brad Lidge b.s. psychoanalysis around here.

I didn't see what you were describing. Judging from his very, very audible use of the word "****" as he was coming off the mound in the 1st, I'd venture to guess that he was just a little upset with himself for making a bad pitch. That doesn't tell me anything about his confidene level though.

Fair enough. I did have a good read of the most recent psychoanalysis on the Could it get any more depressing thread but thought I'd stay out of that one lol. Was just wondering why Sampson had such poor outings in his last 2 starts. I know he was ill but I was just hoping that hadn't knocked his confidence. I suppose when Griffey Jr. hit that homer I was just fearing the worst and maybe saw something that wasn't there. Good stuff since then though.

I tingle with joy when Pence earns a walk.

Pence and Loretta at 6 and 7 are almost a decent top of the order.

Kaz is such a clutch hitter. Is that the 3rd time already he's had a 2 out hit with RISP?

No doubt Kaz has been a spark plug since his first game.

Loretta certainly looks confident against Arroyo, now 11-20.

Careful using the word "plug" in regards to Kaz.

Would it be fair to say this offense is clicking right now?

First, Peavy. Now, Arroyo. I know Arroyo is struggling this season, but it's not like he's a bad pitcher.

    This offense is looking beautiful.

Mind you, the Reds couldn't be playing any worse.
