I wouldn't disagree with that, but the bottom line is these guys get 3-4 months off each year where they can figure out a way to bust the strategy as well.

Nash will get his numbers regardless. Bowen harasses him enough that it bothers him and makes things tougher on him.

Even if Battier is not as good as a prime Bowen, I don't see why he cant harass Deron just the same.

I actually want to see him put in a situation where he can succeed and can make an impact, instead of excuses being made for him.

Ask your significant other to write it for you or pay someone else.

Is D'Antonio r****ded? For some reason he keeps going to Diaw when they need big plays.

    Same as game 1.

Shaq got lost in pick and roll defense once again.

could we stop going to diaw's worthless ass? all he had to do is spin baseline and he screws it up with a travel.

ginobili is just impossible to stop.

The Spurs are just too darn good. Ginobili is just too crafty. Parker is just too fast. And Duncan is just too consistant. Besides they are a really smart team who play great defense.

well bowen is significantly shorter and more agile. battier already gives up speed going down to SG's, though his length and positioning help, but going down to a good PG would be really hard. bowen's not really any slower than nash.

yeah, it must be great to follow a team that ALWAYS makes the big play and the big stop. even when you do everything right, you've got parker making 20 footers over shaq that he should miss, duncan hitting his first 3 of the season when by all rights you should be up in the series 1-0, and then if all else fails, ginobili makes a big 3 (does he ever miss?) or drives and gets fouled (and always gets the call) or makes the bucket. manu is what makes them so impossible.

    I wouldn't be so sure.

When it comes down to it, the Spurs play great defense and can get a big stop when they need to and Phoenix can't. At least they haven't done it so far against the Spurs these first two games.

    Bruce Bowen is 6-7.

    Battier is 6-8.

    That's significantly shorter to you??

Battier has been on Baron Davis and he did just fine. Baron Davis and Deron Williams are very similar (speed and body build). If it works for one, chances are it will work for the other.

While Battier might not be as quick, he is big enough where he will take away the post up game of Deron.

exactly, all of their stars are gamers. Ginobili is one of the top closers in the Nba. Duncan and Parker could be if they wanted to. Its what happens when you have been there done that.

Bell a little clothesline on ginobili
