I care, being in Toronto and all. This is going to be tight, the Raptors have more talent than their record suggests and it'll likely come down to a game 7.
The Magic are more than willing to cough this game up if the Raptors are man-enough to take it from them. The Raptors are getting killed by their PGs.
The same pillows players who can neutralized our Yao Ming? I m not hating Yao but Howard really make himself into superstardom these 2 games. We will see how Howard is doing the next 2 games. To me, it is getting clearer than i will choose a center who will dominate 29 other teams night in night out than a dominate center who is so easy to neutralize by fronting, physical plays and quicker players. Btw, it was Hedo who won the game for the Magic and their 100million dollars man again sucked!
That was an amazing shot by Hedo at the end of the game. He kissed the top right corner of the glass. Hedo should be making 100 million, not that other guy. Anyone catch the irony in Barkley's comments on having Bosh take the last shot for the Raptors? He said even though Bosh might be the best player on the Raptors, he shouldn't have taken those last shots because he does not have an advantage over Dwight. This coming from the same Charles who kept insisting on going one on one vs Karl Malone in 97 playoffs even though he was overpowered by him? I agree with what Charles said but if only he had followed his own advices from the future.
Over their careers (as I remember it), Barkley did quite well against Malone in head to head matchups. But in their latter years, Malone's dedication to physical fitness and Charles' dedication to the good life flipped things around. By 1997, Malone was much better. Without Turkey-Glue, the Magic would (at best) barely make the playoffs.
when orlando was up 98-97 rashard lewis missed like 2 wide open shots in a row... rashard lewis should be making 5 million a year MLE
yeah I was watching it, Rashard Lewis is ****. MAYBE worth MLE Nice shot by Hedo though, and a good game. Would have been better if Bosh made the shot at the end.
Right. That's why I only mentioned the 97 series since that's when we had him. Barkley used to do well against Malone when he was still quick and could just blow by Malone off the dribble. By the time we got him, injuries and physical fitness had taken a toll on him and he was not quick enough to go by Malone. The only thing he could do against him was either shoot over him, which he wasnt great at, or back him down, which wasn't happening against a stronger Malone who was a master at swiping the ball down low. Yeah. He was been their primary play maker all year. Not Rashard or Dwight. He is also their Mr. 4th quarter.
There is a reason why 3 of the first 5 games of this series have been exiled to NBA TV. IMO, that is the ultimate dis.
