This is a team that's down on the radar but perhaps capable of upsetting the applecart in the East. Two indicators of major upside IMO...

They dealt for Delonte West,Wally, and Big Ben which I really liked at the time.Delonte had already begun to blossom in Seattle and is going to play with LBJ for a long time..Now those guys have had enough time to get some kind of chemistry and are layin in the weeds.
I mean young, underrated Varajao has been playing awhile now since coming back from the injury, finally healthy.
For now the Cavaliers have big Z,a legitimate Big man albeit more of a jumpsooter...At times can work well underneath but the foot problem took it's toll.Still I admire his long career after it seemed like he coud be done early with the bad break.

Then there is the LBJ deal where not unlike MJ, Magic,Bird at some ponit these guys elevate there play and team along with it to tiitles. When does it start?Maybe it's too early andhe's not there yet. I know Boston is a beast, but the Cavs have LBJ and a much better supporting cast this year.If not this one then next I see them commencing a run of Finals appearances to rival just about anyone.

I'm thinking the Wizards will pull this out. This is the only match-up in the Eastern Conference first round that I am interested in too. I hope it is a good one.

If the Wizards win, which I think they will, they will defeat Boston. My bold prediction of the playoffs.

FYI, the Wizards went 3-1 against the Celtics this year. As we all know, regular season success does not always carry over into the playoffs, but it's far from idiotic to think that Washington can beat them.

My friend is thinking the same thing. I cannot say I agree with you guys but I can say I wouldn't mind if you were correct.

Cavs suck, I just don't see them winning with Wizards this year. Wizards only care about LeBron, they try to put the ball out of his hands. They are testing other guys which is smart cause they suck, really they do.

And again, Cavs don't have any offense. They play excatly the same that Rockets did a year ago. LeBron gets the ball 30 feet away of the basket and wants a pick and roll. They are doubling him and it is over.

There's a reason they're down on the radar. They suck.

LBJ should be suspended for game 2 imo. which will open the door for a split for the Wiz heading home.

He was getting hammered. But I think review afterwards will show how it was intentional, to the face...and AFTER the whistle. I think it's a suspension.

He might deserve it but honestly do you really think they are going to suspend LBJ? I doubt it but who knows. It's all about the jack unfortunately.
    We'll see.You do have a point.

One things for sure, this is an intense game.

Thank God the playoffs are here!

It wouldn't be bold if it wasn't far fetched right? Everyone is drooling over the Celtics, but they overlook what the Wizards did to them in the regular season. 3-1 as AntiSonic mentioned.

I don't know what's up with the name calling, but it's pretty immature. The posters on this board live and breathe basketball. You'll get to know that once you get to know this site. Welcome to the boards

Nope, not unless the Celts get hit with a key injury.
