That was a frustrating lost but that call wasn't the only reason we lost. 1st T-mac is not playing good in the 4th, I know they are doubling but he has to do better in the 4th. Coaching decisions, I can not for the life of me understand why Chuck Hayes is in most of the 4th quarter over Mutombo. Just doesn't make sense. And missed free throws cost us this game.

Utah is definitely the better team talent-wise. NOT EVEN CLOSE. The Rockets are not good enough to beat them as is, let alone beat them with their flopping ref-baiting tactics. BTW NBA refs are the worst refs in pro sports.

at least this series showed tmac is still a superstar. we can still win with him.

he led the game in points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, fg attempts, ft attempts

but it also shows he cannot dominate for 4 whole quarters (i don't think nobody can anyways). he was other-worldly, jordan-like, whatever you want to call him for 3 quarters. then he moved like an old grandma in the 4th. he needed someone to shine for one quarter. nobody did. this is where yao would have been helpful b/c he would have taken the scoring load off of tmac.

the goal for tmac is to try to really improve his stamina.

In fact, this game the rockets lost in the paint. Our primeter players did fine, but no post presence.

BTW, next season, Yao should played 10 games and then take rest for the next 5 games. We don't need him in regular season. We need to keep him fresh for the postseason.

guys....look at it this way....this team, as constructed, did the very BEST they could under the circumstances...it hurts now, but I GUARANTEE you that Les will be motivated to light a fire under DM's ass to overhaul the roster...IE...move Jackson's expiring contract and find any takers for SB....I firmly believe that if we go with the status quo, even with Yao Ming we will lose in the first round again next year....we have NO SCORERS!!!! Scola is a good 6th man that brings energy....but not a guy you can go to down the stetch....this is where Artest would have come in handy!!!

Chin up, cheer up....this group of guys fought their butts off and their is no shame in losing to a sound club in Utah....yeah, I hate them too....but this is the best thing for us long-term....it's not like we would have taken down the Lakers....the road was gonna come to an end soon enough....

AB was playing great and showing everyone how important it is to have someone that can leave behind his defender and attack the rim at will.

The Rockets did their best. I cant fault them. You know what though... I think this series is coming back to Houston and once they get that far anything can happen... We need to believe in them.

Scola should have bear hugged AK47. Bear hugs are part of the game in those situations. The mistake Scola made was that he tapped him which is a no no.

He is a rookie, Give him time and he will learn.

If the refs did this in Houston, just imagine what they will do in Utah. 10x worse.

I'm talking about the guy who could break down the defense when he chose.
