What was Gerald Wallace thinking?

    He was trying to do the same elbow dunk that Carter did. It's a good thing that he got booed by the crowd, that stupid copy cat!

    Yea seriously. The elbow dunk by Carter was good b/c it was original. I'm sure that a lot of players could do that dunk now that it's already been done, but it just doesn't have the same effect as the original one.

    And you think somehow Vince made it original? Get real. That dunk has been done on playgrounds before. Gary Payton is the guy that told Vince to try it.

    yeah.. but nobody dunked like that in dunk contest.. He made it popular

    Yup. Kinda like Clyde Drexler dunking on 11 foot goals, too bad he never made that popular, though. :)

    Yea but being the first 1 to do the dunk in the contest gives it originality. Besides, how many of the people watchin the contest do u think go to the playgrounds to watch games? not many i bet
