I hate that the Lakers have Gasol.

carmelo was "ballin" before iverson became a nugget. remember he averaged 31 ppg last yr?? carmelo is not a creator much but he could easily be the best scorer in the L. him in the post is an automatic double team (just as much as yao is believe it or not).

iverson just plays at his own style and only creates if he can't get a shot. he's not a pure PG. he is a true liability defensively (look at how they are just exploiting him and carter).

JR will be a stud though. he schooled kobe several times with his dribbles.

What kills the Nuggets is the zero production they get from Martin and Nene. That's a whole lot of money going into a whole lot of nothing.

a new coach with some defensive mindset will do wonders. you dont blow up and rebuild because of one loss...lol

    Funny.

Gasol does not play defense. He better pray Bynum comes back this season if they plan on winning a title. They really did the right thing by locking up the #1 seed and avoiding either Pho or SA until the WCF.

I actually like gasol's game but let's not get carried away. laker shaq would've dropped 50 on these small ball nuggets.

    I hate Marcus Camby.

I could have scored 30+ today.

    I hate Marcus Camby.

At least AC is trying though. Unlike Camby.

    I hate Marcus Camby.

And we should have used the zone more.

That's because Karl is asleep at the wheel and Marcus Camby is a piece of crap.

    I hate Marcus Camby.

You guys keep saying that, and I'm 99% sure you're wrong. You can have Camby though.

    I hate Marcus Camby.

Uh...did you watch the game? K-Mart was unbelievable out there. He's been our best defender all year. He was smacking Kobe around out there. Unlike last year's "supposed" DPOY.

    I hate Marcus Camby.

BTW, the Lakers fans opened one hell of a can of worms by chanting "DUI" at Melo during free throws. I think we all know what's headed Kobe's way in games 3 & 4. Kind of dumb on their part (and classless... which is why I won't be chanting at the Pepsi Center at Kobe).

    man Nugz..

Im sorry man, it must be hard to deal with some of those guys. All that talent and no brains to use it. Kinda like the polar opposite of the ROckets (all brains, not enough talent)

    Whats worse tho to you?

The fact that they *could* play super defense if they actually wanted to?

or the boneheaded mistakes and running of the mouth at crucial times?

but hey...at least you got some good pieces hidden over there...hopefully yall get some direction on how to use it.

Kobe has been fortunate. But what champion hasn't, besides 94 Hakeem, 03 Duncan and Rick Barry in whatever year that was.

It isn't just one loss, but an accumulation of a lot of things. A new coach is only the first step for the Nuggets. The pieces on their roster don't fit well together and the team in it's current form has just about run it's course.

Will somebody please kick me in the behind very hard for blowing off the 2nd half of this game and only watching the last 2 minutes? I deserve it.

At least seeing the disappointment of the Pistons and their fans was great!!!

jumpman, if you see this, please post a picture of Rasheed's big mouth if the Pistons lose this series.

Forget JR. We drafted Luther Head in the 1st round while Monta Ellis went in the 2nd round. :(
