    Hi fellow fans,

I'm disappointed to see that our Rox lost Game 1. I did not, however, see the game.

Did anyone record it? (Particularly onto a DVD?) I'd love to be able to purchase a copy of it from someone who did record it.

    Please let me know.
    Thanks, and Go, ROCKETS! :D

I never keep recordings of any games we lose. I have no wish to rewatch those.

I still have it recorded and I could burn it on DVD if you want. Email via my profile. You can paypal me a few bucks for the disk and shipping.

Although R2k always makes the games available and you could download it.

I watch them all because I look at how the intangibles evaporate. Explains the difference in our player evaluations.

For reasons I don't want to get into, my DVR is broken, I don't have the capability of downloading it and I won't use paypal. Would your offer be available to a personal check or money order?

BB you and I are in the same boat. I set the game to record but it didn't work. So I only saw part of the 4th quarter.

R2k will have it up for download eventually. Just keep checking the torrent site.

I made fun of you before for being a Battier-only fan and that was wrong.

But being eager to watch a game that we lost badly doesn't make any sense to me if you are a Rockets fan, a fan of the TEAM. If I missed the game and knew they lost, there is no way I come in here all happy and perky talking about my favorite player had a great game and looking for a copy.

Honestly, I am not sure if you care more about this team or just seeing Battier. There is nothing illegal about only caring about Battier but I don't think many people in here want to hear that. The vast majority of the fans in here don't care who plays poorly or who plays well in a given game as long as the TEAM wins.

I am sure you will say you are a true fan and that you do care about this team, but your comments in this thread are just too flaky. I am sorry to say, I really think you are just a chick that has the hots for Battier or something.

Question: If Battier gets traded, or after he retires as a Rocket, will you still support this team?

    Another question: Who cares?

Seriously. Who cares? Who cares if she is only a Battier fan and not a Rockets fan? And if you really do care, why? I've been a diehard Rockets fan for more than 20 years, but this isn't a religion.

You're right and I addressed that point in my first post.

There is no rule against being a fan of only one player. We have about 20,000 of that type in this forum from China.

It just bothers me because this is not a Shane Battier forum or a Yao Ming forum. It's a Houston Rockets forum.

Regardless, there is nothing I can do about it. She is entitled to make the comments she made. I posted my thoughts. Nothing you can do about that.

I stated my opinion. Sorry, I don't have an answer for your question.

And, it's a lot easer not to give up when all you care about is how one player performs. Sometimes the fans that get frustrated and give up are the most diehard fans.

Thank you, Angkor Wat! :D And thank you to kryosfya (sp.?) and others who have replied too.

JBII, I do not seem to have any PMs/e-mails. When did you send it?

Also, one another question: What is R2K, and where would I locate it online?

Brooks, I came to be a Rockets fan because of Shane, but I like the team and have grown to enjoy watching them all. Besides Shane, Chuck Hayes and T-Mac, Deke, Novak, and Scola are among some of the others that I enjoy watching.

Well, judging by your post count, your interest in the team does seem to go up when we're slumping. So it's no surprise you'd be eager to rewatch game 1. Personally, I find playoff losses to be painful even when I'm not picking us to win (as is the case this year). A single viewing is enough.
