Come on. It isn't like the other team is so perfect in anyway. We are just a worse team right now. Guys did their best.

No, most games will be over by halftime and there are only going to be four of them so it won't be too bad.

Yes, we fought back and Battier did way better than I thought. Luis fought back after a bad start, but it comes down to McGrady in the end. When he had 17 points in the 3rd quarter I thought he could have taken us close to victory but alas it was not so.20 points for him is never going to be enough. I was very disappointed in him.

After tonight I know I shouldn't watch because the outcome seems obvious, but I know I'll be watching the rest of the series and throwing crap in frustration in the process.

I'm sorry we didn't lose the game b/c RA put in Novak. Yeah, that was a bad move, but we lost the game because:

    1. We got dominated on the offensive glass
    2. We had no interior defense. They killed us in the paint.
    3. We couldn't make a lay-up to save our lives

    Add to that:

    1. Bobby Jackson: WTF???
    2. Luther Head: I'm not even surprised anymore
    3. T-Mac: no where to go b/c 3 guys are on your side of the floor due to the fact that no one else on your team can score.

    Bright side?
Well, Battier played well on offense for once
McGrady was agressive as hell the first 3 quarters, and shot well until he had to take bad shots at the end of the shot clock and then other desperation shots.

    Bad game

    I don't know

This team has been getting shafted for years for various reasons. Coach sick, injuries, bad player combination, bad first round opponents, etc

Bobby Jackson was 3-15 from the floor, 1-7 from three-point range and dished 3 assists in 33 minutes. He had one of the craziest turnovers I've ever seen where he just lost the ball on a breakaway. I agree --- terrible, terrible, terrible... just terrible.

Yet, where I disagree is you're clamoring for Rafer Alston. Rafer was 3-11 from the field, 2-8 from three-point range and dished 4 assists in 45 minutes in last year's critical Game 7. He had one of the craziest turnovers I've ever seen where he just flat fell down and lost the ball, killing the momentum of that game.

The Rockets have good backup point guards. Next year, they need a starter.

We got all the calls, two of their starters (Okur, Brewer) were horrible, all 3 of their usual front court players were in foul trouble, and still it wasn't close at the end. At least this will end quick.

It was pretty much over in the 2nd quarter when Booby Jackson finally hit his 3rd shot - a long 2 pointer - and decided to run down the floor on the very next play and take a contested 3 pointer with a hand in his face. Of course being that there was ample time on the shotclock, the Booby didn't even look to pass to a teammate cuz he wanted to get his and get in on the action when the Rockets were trying to make a run. What a useless and selfish piece of crap.

The difference is the Suns outplayed the Spurs in SA for the vast majority of that game.

The Rockets lost at home and now have to win at least one game in Utah where they are nearly unbeatable.

The next game, for all intensive purposes, is a must win if we want any chance in this series.

BUT McGrady has to be more assertive in the 4th quarter. The Rox got rattled and quit looking for him--he has to demand the ball in that situation.

What happened to the team that won 22?

Why has no one mentioned that TMac only had 20 points on 21 field goal attempts? 7-21 shooting isn't going to get it done unless TMac is getting to the line 10+ times. TMac was terrible tonight.

Our only hope is for Utah to have injuries... oh wait we have benchwarmers that we can use to get in a fight to suspend their starters. Since our bench isn't doing much, they could do that.

Anyways I still think we can pull it off. I just don't know where our defense or offense from the streak has gone.

I'm not saying we would have won the game if RA doesn't put Novak in, but that was the turning point in the game. We had some momentum going and then the Jazz snatched right back because Novak can't play a lick of defense.

I would also add poor FT shooting to your list and I agree with rest of what you said.
