On "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" Steve was interviewed on a couple of things like his feelings towards playingin the All-Star game. When the hosts asked if he was going to take it to Jordan, Steve replied by saying that he wasn't interested in MJ because he had other plans, namely AI. Steve said that when Allen scored 58 against us he never heard the end of it and that he really wasn't checking him in that game. So because of all the attention Iverson received Steve is going after him with a VENGEANCE!!!

What do ya'll think about this. Personally I'm excited. :D If anyone can school AI it's Steve. For those of you who don't believe, just go back and look at the games we played against Philly last year. Steve was crossing that chump over like nothing and making him look silly.

    Go Franchise!!!

This allstar game is going to be great.

    Kobe wants MJ badly
    Steve want AI badly

and the east only has guards. They have zero forwards.

Jason Kidd being inserted into the starting lineup messes everything up. Because the East will have Kidd/Iverson/Jordan all lined up, Garnett, Duncan, or Webber will have likely have to guard MJ. Francis might still be able to check Iverson with Bryant checking Kidd, but they might go it vice versa because of the success Bryant has had guarding Iverson in the past. Nevertheless, the exciting matchup of Bryant - Jordan is gonna be impossible because there's no way Garnett, Duncan, or Webber can stay with Iverson or Kidd.

*as always, IMHO - pls do you own due diligence!*

No Shaq. Who's going to guard the rack? You know Deke will on the other side. Make them shoot jumpers, punish them inside. I'd go with Duncan, with block help from Garnett. Any other shotblockers, enforcers, physical players? I'd like to see Micheal and AI both sent back on their butts.

The East will win. Last year they won because they have the better guards and SF's.

All-Star games are always wide-open, thus eliminating the effectiveness of post-up players like Shaq or Duncan.

The only big men who are able to do much are the mobile ones like Webber and Garnett who can run, pass, shoot, dribble, etc.

I think the East will win this year too. While the West has the PF/C the East is loaded at SG/SF.

I think Francis can take AI. Iverson will probably get hot because it will be in Philly and the crowd will ask for Iverson to shot. I like Iverson, but when he plays against the Rockets I just hate him. So hopefully Francis will teach this guy a lesson for scoring 58 on the Rockets. Go Francis!!!
