I don't order too much pasta out because I hate cheese and nearly every place cannot make it without cheese. I was able to get some on the buffet without cheese and it was not too bad. It wasn't 5 star Italian restaurant quality but it was Chef Boyardee knock off quality either. Depending on the price or deal you get I would try it.
I ordered the Chicken one and it was really good. Taste as good as pasta you'll find in those overpriced restaurants.
LOL! I know, people always look at me like I am crazy but I just cannot do it. The smell and taste just make me gag. I am not a big fan of dairy products period but I am not lactose intolerant or anything like that. I am also not a fan of chocolate.
I just had the chicken one for dinner tonight, it was pretty good. I got some email that you got a free pizza with it, so all and all a good deal.
ha i just saw the commercial and clicked straight in here, looks good, i thought the commericals was one of those "truth" ads, heh
I've tried both. They're FANTASTIC. You also get five breadsticks with the pasta. For $11.99....that's not bad. Actually, I think the pastas at Pizza Hut tastes better than their pizzas.
That's not saying much. A girl I know that used to work there said they use a cup of vegetable oil on their pans for pizzas. That's like 2,000 extra calories and all of those are from fat. I know somebody that worked at Papa John's and I worked at Pizza Inn and neither of those used that much oil, in fact Pizza Inn used a Pam-like spray. I'm not saying that the oil was the main cause of the taste of Pizza Hut's pizza but I am sure it didn't help.
My girlfriend and I tried it last week. We are very picky when it comes to pasta. I ordered both to try, and both are very good. We hope it's a mainstay from now on at Pizza Hut. We'd rather order the pastas than the pizza. Throw in those breadsticks, and it's a great deal. PS - if you register a new email everytime you order from pizza hut's site, there's a code somewhere that let's you get 20% off your first order.
Yeah I can't stand pizza hut anymore. Every once in a while I would get a coupon for a free pizza and there would be a puddle of grease in the center of the pizza. Gross. Now I just prefer frozen or to make my own.
Those are just the pan pizzas, LP. I worked at Pizza Hut while in college, and would never eat one of those greasy pies ever again. I do wish they would bring back their subs, though. Those were actually decent.
Yes, I apologize for not clarifying. The pan pizzas use a cup of freaking oil but Pizza Inn and Papa Johns both make pans and from the knowledge I have heard and seen first hand I know they don't do the same.
That's one of the main reasons I like their pan pizzas. The bottom of the crust is a crispy, oily, tasty treat. And frankly, I'm not concerned with calories when I order pizza.
