What Do You Want the Team to Do to Prepare for Utah?

Work on those damn free throws! Oh, and send McGrady to that witch doctor he had last season.

 

The Lakers did decently well against the j*zz this year, and it was because of a healthy dose of Kobe driving into the lane repeatedly.

IMO TMac needs to do the same. He needs to practice his free throws and throw himself into the lane constantly. Boozer and Okur aren't shot blockers. I know TMac is worried about his body/back usually so he doesn't drive as much, but these are the playoffs now, and he needs to give it his all

 

If nothing else, send T-Mac to John Patterson for a tune up of his body. At least then, he has the mental thing taken care of because T-Mac will believe he's at a 100 percent. That's bigger than anything right now is to get him mentally ready.

 

Take lots of rest and play loose. We are the underdog, we are the David, and we have nothing to lose.

 

That's easy draft a big man that can rebound and block shots in the off-season ( To back up Yao in case he gets hurt again).. Trade Tracy for basket attacking, fierce competitor, and non injury prone player (Artest or someone like him)...

Were going to lose this series 4-1 or 5-2.. We just don't have the talent to win over the Jazz. As much as I hate the F@$%@$ Jazz from preventing Hakeem to get his 3rd ring and silencing all the bull crap with Jordanless Bulls vs the Rockets..

Honestly some of you guys I thought had some common sense in the basketball arena but it looks like dreaming in cloud 9 is the way to go..

LOL my bad i was fast typing (at work ) but you get my point... I'm looking forward to the off-season with this team because if we really pickup a legit backup big and maybe some smart trades I think we will be alot better next year..

Remember T-mac and Yao only have 2 or 3 more years (Prime Years) after this season.

 

Mcgrady should work on his 40 foot jump shots. We will surely win with this approach

For me it comes down to three things.

A Move the ball on offense, SA show us yesterday how bad Utah defends when the other team has no primary scorer by default and moves the ball all around, we have to make McGrady buy into it.

B Defend the Pick N Roll, i think this will be at most on Scola or Hayes they will have to be able to realize when to stick with the big and when to swich, Scola used to be very good at this and his game has regressed at this, i hope he can regain his Pick N Roll defense to the level he had at the Olympics.

C Convince T-Mac that he has to defend and attack Korver at all costs, when he is one on one on Korver, in defense or offense you have to play hard on him, make it hard to the basket or stick on him on defense, Kyle Korver CAN NOT be a difference maker if we want to win.

 

Why i feel that you and other fans will be really pissed off if we get past Utah??
Why don´t you think what is better for Yao? I am 100% sure that Yao is rooting for the team to win and not against it like some of you seem to do.

I tell you Yao will rather prefer next year be around a team with proven playoff experience and not to say a pressure free T-Mac, T-Mac can regain a lot of his game just by getting to second round, years of pressure will be gone and his confidence will higher, i have no doubt that this is the best case scenario for Yao and not a scenarie when T-Mac comes back with another playoff failure as the rest of the team.

 

Buy a bunch of hyperbolic chambers and have everyone sleep in them so we can heal up!!!
