I thought what he says about Deke fitting well into this offense is true... and we have seen him be really affective around the basket offensively the last couple of weeks. On cuts and heck even shooting a few jumpers. Also we have run the 4 out 1 in part of the princton offense as well, particularly when Novak is in the game or sometimes if Carl and Chuck are in the game at the same time as Tmac (tmac plays one of the high post spots and Chuck is low)
that's just two plays but thanks. The Adleman offense is actually supposed to be implemented by the 5. Which we found Yao isn't particularly good at. I think then for a time Scola started to run it and Scola's actually pretty good at passing the ball. T-Mac is pretty good too. Thing is if the 5 implements the offense, he can the move to the low post or set a screen or run the pick and roll. Like Adleman said, we are only using about 10 percent of his offense.
the high post worries that people had last summer regarding yao are now being celebrated because our less offensive players are able to get to the basket and score.
the only thing that helped us win games when Yao went down. Both of our stars are pretty bad at running the offense but when you take one of them out the bench grasps it much better, probably because they would never score otherwise. We'll be even better next year because everyone will have learned how to move the ball alot better. Yao can just fit right because we know we don't have to force feed it to him on every play now.
