The series will be physical and the Rockets must match up with the Jazz bench. The bench play will be the key to winning the series.

Is Scola quietly becoming the team's first option? Think about it.

I really like the fact that Adelman has seemed to settle on using Novak to back up McGrady. It just makes so much sense, even more so when McGrady is throwing a 2 for 11. We're gonna need Novak to offset and matchup with Korver.

he's our main guy in the post right now that's for sure. if tmac doesn't have it, it seems like we're looking to scola more and more, and nothing is wrong with that. he's responding.

if he can make that mid-range jumper consistently off of the pick and roll with tmac, tmac will have so much penetration space.

that means we can beat them!

cuz we won tongiht by 18!!!!!

yeah! LAST GAME = FUTURE!!! I'm so glad they lost and we won that means we're gonna win the series. if we lost and they won then we'd lose!!!!

remember: last game played = only game that counts PERIOD.

We have a chance now to avenge our defeat by Jazz last season. This time
we'll see what Adelman can do against the Jazz.

The guy's averaging better than 50%, right? Why wouldn't you just roll with that?

This series will be a very interesting one. We will be able to atleast contain Boozer this year, because we will have Chuck Hayes or Carl Landry guarding him more often than Mutombo, and although we lose Yao offensively, Boozer took advantage of him last year head to head.

We also have Scola this year, which will force Boozer, Okur, and Millsap to play one on one defense. Could draw foul trouble for the Jazz big men.

Deron Williams will have his way on offense, but Brooks might be able to make him work bringing the ball up the court and make him use up some energy that way.

Battier will be able to atleast cancel out what AK-47 does. Plus no Derick Fisher this year.

We will miss Rafer big time, but luckily we have a playoff tested veteran point guard who knows this offense better than any other player. Plus he's hit big shots before, and can possibly give Tmac some breathing room.

Tmac's banged up, but he will have to find a way to be effective offensively. Maybe eliminate the 3 point shot, and just stick with mid-range and post ups and run the pick and roll with Scola and Landry. I look for him to elevate his game in the playoffs, and just play smarter and within the offense.

This will be a fun series to watch...

If Novak can act like a poor man's Peja in this series, we'll have a chance.

I think it's because of Landry's +/- rating. He's not as effective when he's out there and usually he's got the most negative +/- when he's on the floor. Unless we get Landry the human pogo stick back, I think Adleman will keep him on the bench. Scola played a lot more minutes minutes and I expect to see Scola with 40 plus minutes once the playoff starts. In the Utah game, Scola actually outplayed Boozer and outscored and out rebounded him. That's good no? :D
