Okur may be suspended for the first game of the playoffs

    He just flat out hit Fabricio Oberto in the face on a rebound, he hit him open hand in the face...

    It was a pretty clear swing.......I think he may be suspended.

    Unintentional? WTF are you watching? The ball was below his waste and Okur hit him in the head...I watched it over and over on DVR....there is no doubt it was intentional...none.

    THat is why I ran to the computer in excitemnt and came here. I Know he'll be suspended one game. It wasn't even close.

    iono if carmelo anthony doesn't get suspended for DUI then i doubt he gets suspended for a slap to the face. Was it a flagrant 2?

    He won't be suspended. Stern knows that they'll be facing the Rockets in the first round.

    I thought it was unintentional also, but it was a hard foul. If you watch it again (and it's easier to see at full speed), Oberto pump-fakes and Okur goes for the fake and so hits Oberto in the face.

    Still hate the Jazz, though. Don't get me wrong.

    They sure can review it.....and Okur did not go for the ball at all, he went right at his head.....

    It was a clear swing.......he should be suspended......now whether he is or not...who knows.....but he should.

    Stern is a rockets homer. Last year he said he looked forward to watching the rockets in the postseason more than any othe series. Stern knows the size of the Rocket's fanbase far exceeds Utah's

    Yeah, they can review it and they will. But I don't think they're going to upgrade the call and suspend him.

    He won't get suspended. Stern won't jeopardize the integrity of a playoff series that easily. The Suns/Spurs fiasco was only enforced because it was a rule written in stone. This foul is a judgment call.

    Uh... Oberto had the ball down by his knees and Okur nearly clotheslined him.

    If Dirk gets 1 game for taking down AK, Okur is gonna get 1 for this.
