We all know the outcome of this series, but these were still awesome games. Now we can watch the legendary 85-86 Rockets play on DVD. I plan on watching it again. Its like Braveheart, we know Gibson gets it in the end, but that's not the point. its about the battles and ... FREEDOM!!

Haha, my bad. But I think it's weird people call the old Dream for Akeem, the dude changed his name for a reason, that's like calling the early 70's Kareem for Lew Alcindor when you talk about him after he changed his name. Isn't it only right to call Hakeem from Hakeem?

If you can find the boxscores, I'd love to see them as well. I tried searching the Chronic's data base some years ago and had no luck at all. Could find articles and columns, but not boxscores. I remember posting some numbers to use in a couple of posts (whenever I was doing it... don't remember), but they came from the, you guessed it, articles and columns. Very frustrating!

    its to make people think.

The actual DVDs come out tommorow: April 15th under the other name: Celtics 195-86 Championship

don't assume that people know Lew Alcindor. We have plenty of people who don't care or respect history here. history bashing is common.
But But they didn't play against today's athletes..

yeah how about they did play with racism in America and not being about to stay and eat in the same place as white people. history is important.

Yeah, I'll be buying this. These games were awesome.

FYI. I have all 5 games on video against LA from 86. If the NBA were smart, they'd release those games.

I'm watching Game 3 now to counter the effect of tonight's game.

Freaking Dream guaranteeing that the Celtics wouldn't win 2 in Houston!

Musbureger -"Front row seats at the Summit normally $18 now are up to $100 for the NBA Finals!" :D

Hey tinman, how's the video quality? I've noticed older games look faded when NBATV plays them.

I notice quicker decision making for these teams back in the day. also more long outlet passes after a defensive board.
I like the 'skin the bird' sign with the fake chicken! hahaha
