You should try Teotuhuacan on Airline. The BEST homemade corn tortillas I've ever had. They come out hot and hold up good with fajitas.
No no! Pupusas are filled. And there's this place in Antigua called El Buen Samaritano that makes the best pupusas EVER. Their tortillas really ARE tortillas, just a bit thicker.
whatever my mom makes for me....i love freshly made tortillas but my parents are from Mexico City so we usually eat corn tortillas
fresh, hand-made corn tortillias for fajitas. Hands down. Not even close. Flour fills you up much faster.
I miss good ol', honest to God homemade flour tortillas. My grandma used to make then when I was younger. So amazing. Fresh and warm, you can eat them all by themselves. Nothing - no restaurant or grocery store - I've come across yet has come close.
I get annoyed when restaurants don't make their own tortillas. If Taco Cabana can do it, anyone can. Just ridiculous. Anyway, I prefer corn - I've found only a few places that make their own though. I don't even mind store-bought corn tortillas, but flour ones from the store are crap IMO.
