I went on Sunday, it was an "ok" outlet. To me it complements Katy Mills well because it has some stores that they don't, at least the ones I like to go to, Adidas/Nike/Puma/Rue21 It was still packed but died down around 4pm, I can't believe there was a line to get into Nike, I could understand Coach, but Nike? Even when I got in, it wasn't crowded at all. The had some nice 25 Anniversary Air Force Ones for $30, but have too many shoes at the moment.
Hi all, I reside in Europe and On July the 29th I will visit Houston for business. I would like your opinion on where should I go in order to have good prices for timberland. I know that the new outlet in Houston does not have timberland and Katy Mills and the tanger mall in San Marcus have. Are the prices in katy mills for timberland good enough? do they compare to the good prices of the tanger mall? additionally and there any other outlet stores with very good prices in the area? i really like the premium outlet stores in both Orlando and Chicago thank you very much George
i can't speak on the prices at the different places, but i can tell you getting to katy mills is much easier than driving all the way to san marcos.
thank you for your reply are the shops in Katty Mills discount stores, or they have normal prices? this will foster my decision on renting a car for the tanger mall or not thank you anyway we do not have discount outlet in Europe and unfortunately in Greece where I reside g
Katy Mills does NOT have a Timberland any more. The closest is San Marcos a couple hours away. I like the new Columbia store that the new outlets have. It's similar to Timberland.
with the current strength of the euro vs the dollar, any mall you go to will be like an outlet mall! in ny these days, all you see on 5th ave are european tourists shopping up a storm.
If you have the time and will be buying a lot of stuff, the San Marcos outlets have anything you want. But if you're only buying a little, reconsider spending all that drive time and about $40 in gas money.
