Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler) They used to play this song/ video on The Tube. I miss The Tube music channel
I voted for "What's Going On" because I love that song, but I would consider "Inner City Blues" a tie. Both of those songs are two of the greatest songs ever made.
I should have Chosen OTHER because. . . . Marvin Gaye's Version of THE NATIONAL ANTHEM is one of the very BEST I have *ever* Heard Makes me proud to be an America <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/QRvVzaQ6i8A&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/QRvVzaQ6i8A&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> Rocket River
One thing about Marvin that I think many people don't realize is that he had some great albums once he established artistic control of his career (just like Stevie did). Everybody knows about "What's Going On" and "Let's Get It On" but "I Want You" and "Here, My Dear" are highly underrated, especially the last one. Even the rare "In Our Lifetime" isn't too bad with "Ego Tripping Out" and "Praise" being really excellent tracks and you also had a fine album in "Midnight Love", too.
