Chinese interview of that little girl of exactly what happened at that time:

Too much for me to translate. But I can see why China is captivated by her.

Apparently Free-Tibeters only feel strong when they are bullying women.

The surprise route changes actually returned the torch relay back to its fundamental values. Few supporters nor protestors along the route. Just ordinary folks, surprised but excited to see the torch, pouring out of their cars and office buildings to cheer the torch and the athletes. The Olympic spirit at its purest. Those scenes moved me, even more than the massive turnout by the supporters in the Bay area.

I just watched the news and they showed like a hundred tree huggers that stopped an "Olympic" bus.
They laid in front of the bus and others jump on it. The crazed mob is just attacking the bus.
Apparently they thought the flame was inside, but it turned out to be just an empty bus.
These idiots then went back over to Berkeley.

You are aware that Berkeley probably has one of the largest, if no the largest, populations of Chinese American students along with Chinese nationals as students?

Many of the PRC supporters today probably came from Berkeley too.

A few folks in this thread seem to agree that handicapped people have no human right and so you can attack a girl in a wheelchair in order to make a statement about human right. Isn't it sad?

Honestly, nationalism is just F**ked up. Minding in another country's business is almost never good.

    Unless it's a take-over or for business reasons. :)

This sort of protest only causes an increase in animosity on BOTH sides. Chinese people will hate Americans more because of this. Americans will see this and feel more hate towards the Chinese.

Hasn't hate gotten everyone in enough trouble already? :(

And in the end, what's the point?

We are all racists, deep down, one way or another.

    That's all.

China is getting what they deserve for their systematic persecution and murder of followers of Falun Dafa. I guess people who love to meditate are evil terrorists in the eyes of the PRC. The Olympics is already a disaster even before it started.

Juan Samaranch is coming out of retirement and is thus secretly rehearsing the line "This Olympics in Beijing is the worst Olympics ever."
