Now I learn what's the human rights in some American's idea. Beating a paralysed girl and trying to rob her by taking advantage of her disability? lighting up a baby in the cradle and get fun in his death? Is that the freedom you want? You are making me sick!!!

Dude, there are psychopaths in every society. With a free press they make front page news, in a secretive society they are quietly swept away to mental institutions to save face for the government.

And Meowgi is just trolling you to make you think.

We think thats the problem here, our Chinese posters don't know how to think independently and can only recite the Party line that they have been force fed from birth. Use what freedom you have here on the BBS and question authority. It's really a very healthy exercise.

    you hit on the head
    its the difference between:
    and
    [IMG]

i never associate my opinion of anything based on 'american' or 'chinese'. It's all in my free will.

I'll defy my country, star fleet for my own beliefs.
Like when Kirk went back to get Spock.

or when Kirk was the only person to successfully win the Kobayashi Maru test. A test that was known to be impossible.

some of our posters still don't understand that. That's why they'll never be CAPTAIN of a STARSHIP!

here's another example of great INDEPENDENT THINKING.

these guys wrote a song dissing the police and never got their record played on the radio, and they went platinum. Was it about America? or China? or Tibet? It could be. It was about Compton but it could be anywhere where people are oppressed by the 5-O.

now imagine some kids in china writing songs that dissed the Chinese police and was extremely obscene.. see? it won't happen, cause people don't think that way.

I remember that. That guy was Chinese and he definitely was not brainwashed.

Maybe people in China actually do have brains and are genetically capable of independent thought. That is, until white people disagree with them.

btw - if it makes anyone feel better, that guy was not executed as is commonly believed. he was released.

Considering the picture I just posted will probably pop up as a massive X on our Chinese friends' browsers, I doubt there's an old school hip hop[ revolution brewing in the streets of Shanghai. XD

Hip Hop and Rock music tend to show up for young and rebellious people.
there is hip hop in the middle east and even heavy metal.
i saw a documentary on hip hop in cuba where the Cuban Government tried to shut down hip hop.

you can't shut down hip hop. its in your heart. Tupac FOREVER!!!

this is the movie i saw. HIP HOP > Communism
