    before its over though, he will be arguably the greatest player ever. unlike the guys who got those ridiculous contracts while barkley, hakeem, jordan, karl malone, and others were still playing.

    Oh...I didn't know. I was a fan of his too (obviously a rockets fan first) but I think even he would concede that the Dream was better. Oh well, at least you admit you're fanhood before we got into a big discussion.

    MJ took some time off to play baseball in the 90s. How come you have him making NBA money throughout the 90s? Are you sure these numbers are correct? I remember Jordan making over 25 million per year for many years.

    MJ made close to 400 million on his endorsement deals in companies like Nike and Gatorade. He took cash and company stock, which appreciated many folds.

    Hakeem made over 200 million in the Houston real estate market.

    Barkley made tens of millions in endorsements.

    Pippen is broke now because he let people close to him con him of his money. That's why he tried to make a comeback or get a coaching job.

    Barkley is still making money on endorsements.

    Chuck was his own agent and that is probably the reason he didn;t make as much. When you add that up over a long nba career it adds up. However that 10% that the other players paid also adds up.

    I think we should start a tip jar just for Charles. If he only made that much in his career, then you know he's close to broke because he spends all his money on food. Cause, in case you haven't noticed, he's a fat ass.
