If he is injured, he should rest until fully recovered. AB was playing quite well last night.

Smart move by Adelman. I bet Rafer plays tonight in the second game of the back-to-back, and sitting him yesterday also allowed us to play Brooks who was going to play much better than he usually does at his home town of Portland anyways. He didn't do that well our last time at Portland, but he did record a season high for minutes. Adelman is great for this--he also played Landry more minutes at Indiana.

It's amusing how many bandwagon fans we have. Alston was a big part of the Rockets recent surge. Now he goes into a little slump and all of a sudden he "sucks" he needs to be dumped and people are happy he's injured. Amazing.

While I agree with the gist of your point, Rafer by no means has all of a sudden sucked........he's sucked for at least 75% of his career as a Rocket.....minimum!!! :D

Rafer still can't shoot (except during the streak). I actually like the duo of BJ and AB better. Dribbling up the court and handing it to TMac can't be that hard.

If we end up with Utah in the first round, we're realllly going to need Rafer. I love AB and he has looked great the last 3 games...but Deron Williams would run him in circles. You can't underestimate Rafer's defense.

My God man. Haven't you guys been watching Brooks? Do you really think he can't play D?

I'm gonna tell you right now. You may want Rafer's D. That's fine. He's been decent although the top points still light him up like a New York Christmas Tree. But Brooks' defense is ten times better than Luther's defense. And with tonight's shooting performance his shooting percentages are sailing north of Rafer's, BJax's, and soon Luther's. Not to mention he is the most efficient scorer of the bunch now. One more good game from Brooks and it is going to be difficult for Adelman to deny him rotation minutes.

I'm sorry. I think we need this guy down the stretch and in the playoffs, especially if Rafer isn't shooting good. At the very least, Brooks should be getting at least part of Luther's minutes and part of BJax's minutes, unless those guys are just red hot and lighting it up out there.

I hope Skip will be back for the next game.I'm glad Brooks has made the most of his minutes but we need Rafer for the playoffs.

Brooks looked amazing tonight. I think he should be ahead Bjax in the rotation, and if he does fail to perform, then we bring in the veteran. Its pretty obvious brooks and head especially will have off nights shooting, and at that point he would be valuable.

Head especially? Head has been more consistent than anyone else in our backcourt...

Head has been the most consistent shooter of the bunch. But, Brooks is on an UPWARD trajectory. IF....................and I realize it's a big IF, but if Brooks continues his recent pace, his shooting and offensive efficiency numbers are going to eclipse all of Rafer's, BJax's, and Head's very quickly because he has played a lot less. I really hope Rafer stays out a couple more games and we get to see Brooks/Head/BJax go up against Phoenix.

It is becoming more and more apparent to me that Adelman has got to be able to go away from Rafer when Rafer goes in a shooting slump. Of course, we just don't know how much of Rafer's latest shooting woes we can contribute to his hamstring issue. This may be the issue that has caused it. Somehow, I don't think you can totally blame the hammy though. And the other thing is of the 4 guards, one is the definitive quickest and the one capable of breaking down the opponent and scoring the ball at the rim the best. And that is Aaron Brooks. He's the best finisher of any of them and the best at breaking down his man and getting to the rim. It's not even close.

Clutch said on the radio program Sunday morning that Rafer not only had hammy problems but also pain in his knee.

I thought it was pain in his rist, since his jumper has been off. Maybe he needed some down time. I think Tmac should sit right after we swat the Sun's upside their head.

You know what, of course I agree Tracy should sit and rest, prepare himself for playoffs but I'd like to sit him now for 2, 3 games and than put him back in the lineup for the last 2 games so that he can still have his game shape.

But with the tough situation in West you never know what might happen. Seed is also very important

The 95 squad disposed of 3 60 win teams in route to championship. So let's forget about seeds, every good team knows our strengths and weaknesses.

I thought they only downgraded people for acting like morons? Guess it must be something personal then.
