i don't get it. the rox win 22 in a row and people say we are the easiest opponent in the playoffs but denver the team that refuses to play defense are the most dangerous and charles barkely said they can beat the hornets

next thurs on tnt - Denver at Golden State

i wish they were playing for the 7th/8th spot rather than the 8th/9th

(i realize there is no 9th spot, but it's easier to type than least lotto team, or whatever the technical term is)

the mavs need to lose in phoenix tomorrow.

The Rockets choked to the Kings, otherwise they would be sitting in 2nd position on the West right now.

    So true.

But the freakin Nugz could not beat them at home without Artest and Miller? They must suck. I wish they hadn't played against us.

actually mavs need to win..i think 5 seed with home court against utah is probably better than 6th without home court vs. lakers.

but ill take the mavs in the 7th/8th if it means we can get hca against utah.

After this unexpected loss for the Nugs, I see the finish at 7 & 8 as:

    Golden State: 50-32
Dallas: 51-31 (but maybe they lose to Utah at home and end up 50-32)
    Denver: 50-32

It could all come down to the Denver @ Golden State game next Thursday on TNT.

I'm now willing to say the Warriors will be a relatively easy win for whoever gets them in the 1st round. They are NOT the same as last season. The Nuggets will get knocked out too. Of the 3, only Dallas has a decent chance of pulling an upset in the 1st round.

In fairness to the Nugs, Kenyon Martin did not play.

It is big because with the Nugget loss we only need 1 more win to clinch a Playoff spot (since the Nuggets and Warriors play on Thursday).

We should get that tomorrow against the Clippers, and then we punch ourselves a ticket to the dance.

It's also worth noting that the Nugget loss officially clinches a Playoff berth for the Spurs.

Y'all mention the Rockets "choke" job. The Nuggets lack of defense. Yada, yada, yada. Stop ignoring the prime factor. Reggie Theus is one hell of a coach.

What is your fascination with him? From some of the games I've watched, I agree, he is not bad at all, especially for his first season. He is miles better than Musselman, that's for sure. However he doesn't seem to be able to get through to Artest that well (like Adelman did).
